GOG's Steam-y Galaxy storefront enters open beta
We love GOG.com for its wide selection of classic games, but there's one hitch: the site sells each game as a separate application, without any kind of central management like we're used to with Steam, Uplay, and Origin. GOG has apparently recognized this problem. Its new GOG Galaxy app provides a convenient-looking, Steam-like interface for games purchased through the service, and it's entering open beta today. GeForce GTX 970, 980 now bundled with new Witcher, Batman games
In March, Nvidia began bundling select GeForce GTX 960, 970, and 980 graphics cards with download codes for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Today, it's expanding that program to include Batman: Arkham Knight—but only for the GTX 970 and 980. Here's what we made of those leaked AMD slides
The number-one request ahead of last week's podcast live stream was some discussion of the possibly leaked slides from AMD. We took a crack at it, although we were careful about drawing too many conclusions from unconfirmed leaks. The discussion does set the table for the real info expected to be revealed tomorrow at AMD's Financial Analyst Day.

Leaked roadmap charts desktop course for Broadwell, Skylake into 2016
Add another roadmap to the pile of leaked documents detailing upcoming processors. This time around, the unconfirmed info lays out the launch schedule and model designations for socketed desktop chips based Broadwell and Skylake silicon. Chinese site PC Online published the slide, which made its way to our inbox thanks to frequent TR tipster SH SOTN.
The roadmap attaches specifics to Intel's stated plan to release a socketed version of Broadwell with Iris Pro graphics. Intel promised the 65W chips mid-year, and it looks like they'll arrive in two flavors ...
