Leak describes fanless ASRock mini-PC with Type-C USB
We've seen a few NUC-alike releases from Gigabyte and MSI of late, though none of them are fanless. Passive cooling is a desirable feature for these tiny PCs, since their equally tiny fans aren't the best-sounding things in the world. ASRock may have a fanless mini-PC in the works, though. Hungarian site iPon got ahold of some leaked slides detailing a new NUC-alike called the BeeBox.
According to the slide deck, the BeeBox features a Celeron N3000 based on Intel's Braswell silicon. This Atom-class duallie has a 1.04GHz base clock with a 2.08GHz Turbo Boost peak, and the onboard HD graphics ...

When Asus first revealed its ultra-slim Core M notebook, the ZenBook UX305, it promised a 13.3" display with a 3200x1800 resolution. IPS goodness would be delivered at 276 PPI, a much higher pixel density than even the latest Retina-equipped MacBooks, and we swooned accordingly.
Trouble is, the only configuration that's been available stateside has been an entry-level unit with a 1080p screen. But ...

Lily quadcopter autonomously films your big adventures
Drone-mounted cameras are opening up a whole new world for video, but it's not always practical to control a camera drone yourself. Even with a partner around to track your adventure, getting good tracking or leading shots requires a skilled hand at the controls, and there are no guarantees that you'll get the shot you want. That's why the new Lily drone is so intriguing. This quadcopter can autonomously track and film anybody holding its control puck, and it's designed to get flying simply by being tossed into the air. Here's what it can do:

BitTorrent Bleep brings encrypted messaging to multiple platforms
First announced as an pre-alpha last year, BitTorrent's encrypted messaging system is finally ready for prime time. The latest release "solve[s] serverless peer-to-peer messaging," according to the official BitTorrent blog. It wraps text, images, and voice calls in a comforting layer of encryption that's hopefully free of NSA influence.
There are no servers to compromise; all messages and encryption keys are stored locally instead of in ...
