Netflix Is Developing a Live-Action Legend of Zelda Series
Cross your fingers and toes and maybe this will all come to pass. Nintendo and Netflix are teaming up to bring the extremely popular video game, The Legend of Zelda, to the TV screen as a live action series. It's in the very early stages of development and hopefully it will be able to get past all of the usual hurdles of creating a new series for television.
Netflix is said to be working closely with Nintendo, the Japanese game developer that has made about 20 "The Legend of Zelda" games since the original, which was released in the U.S. in 1987.

Could the FBI Be Involved in the Pirate Bay Revival?
The strange circumstances surrounding the reincarnation of The Pirate Bay by an unknown individual or group has led speculation that all is not what it seems. The site re-emerged without its old moderation team and anonymous owners fueling rumors that the FBI is actually in change of The New Pirate Bay, laying a giant trap which would net thousands of members in one fell swoop.
On the topic of working with the FBI, The Pirate Bay has not responded, but TorrentFreak claims the accusations are "complete nonsense" but said that "general security concerns of using a US-based service are legitimate"

Swatch Plans Smartwatch to Compete with Apple Watch's Debut
One more hat tossed in the ring for the smartwatch market this week when the Swatch Group, makers of the ever popular Swatch watch, announced their intentions to debut their version of the Smartwatch within the next three months.
Swatch has decades of experience developing technology that might go into a smartwatch, such as long-lasting batteries so thin they're bendable. The company's Tissot brand has made watches with touch-screens since 1999 that now offer an altimeter, a compass, and sensors to record a diver's descent.

You Can Now Control Assassin's Creed with Your Eyes
In coordination with Tobii Tech, Ubisoft will be offering a game option that will let you control movement of the game solely with your eye movement. You will have to purchase the SteelSeries Sentry eye tracker separately, but the unit will come bundled with Assassin's Creed: Rogue when it ships out March 10th.
Introducing eye-tracking into the mix doesn't mean keyboard and mouse control are out. Instead, it means the player's gaze and that of the game's protagonist Shay Patrick Cormac are the same. Where you look, Cormac will look.

NSA Lays Out Its Reforms Post-Snowden
NSA has published a fact sheet on its reforms in relation to intelligence gathering in the US and it's unbelievable. Unbelievable in the fact that only cursory tweaks were made and just about everything is still at status quo even with the Administration pushing for sweeping reform.
The rules on whistleblowing have also been amended to allow staff to report illegal activity by their peers without fear of professional sanction. If, like Edward Snowden, you're a contractor, there are still no legal protections for whistleblowing, and you can expect to be prosecuted if you speak out.

The Millennium Falcon Drone: First Mission
Han Solo would heartedly approve of this version of his Millennium Falcon, the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs, but I don't think this version of the ship is quite that fast. If you are going to have a drone, have one with a little flair.

Microsoft is Still Committed to Supporting Windows RT
When Microsoft announced in January that the company has ceased production of the Surface 2 tablet and that the Windows 10 upgrade would not be offered to the discontinued device, Microsoft certainly didn't mean that all support would be dropped from the Surface 2. Microsoft will be offering future RT updates periodically in continued support of the device.
Is Windows RT dead? Yes, pretty much, but that might not mean what you think it does.
