Cabbies: Boston Allows Uber, Lyft To Operate Illegally
I wonder if cabbies around the country are going to follow Boston's lead and file lawsuits against Uber and Lyft as well?
Traditional taxi drivers in Boston say that the city is allowing Uber and Lyft to illegally operate, and they want a judge to make it stop, according to a federal lawsuit filed Friday. The suit claims the city is breaching the cabbies' constitutional rights because it is treating the traditional drivers differently than the newfound ride-hailing companies.

Corsair Graphite Series 380T
Head on over to Modders Inc. this afternoon and check out their review of the Corsair Graphite Series 380T. You can see our evaluation here for comparison purposes.
Corsair is one of those companies, they have introduced a few different Mini-ITX cases but the introduction of their 380T from their Graphite Series really caught my eye. For one they have been toying with the idea of bringing out a whole bunch of eye catching colored versions of the 380T. But additionally they put together a design that is easy to carry with a handle but it also has a large window inside. That means you can get it to LANs and also show off what is inside. That is having your cake and getting to eat it too.

Google And SpaceX Are Talking About Internet Satellites
First it was Virgin, now it is Google and SpaceX. What's with all the interest in internet satellites today?
A few days ago, however, SpaceX announced that it too would be joining the fray by launching several hundred satellites to orbit the earth. By placing the craft at a height of 750 miles, the system would, theoretically, be able to provide fiber-like speeds to every person on earth.

Without Drugs, What's The Point of Bitcoin?
Okay bitcoin supporters, let's hear your best answer to this question.
"Bitcoin is insanely traceable," Nicholas Weaver, a researcher at UC Berkeley's International Computer Science Institute told the Verge. As an unregulated currency, Bitcoin appeared to be a natural fit for the illicit drug market. But while Bitcoin is anonymous, it isn't untraceable. When users convert bitcoins to hard currency, their name becomes linked to a "public blockchain" that comprises the entire transactional history of the bitcoin.

NZXT S340 Mid-Tower Case
There is a quickie one page review of the NZXT S340 mid-tower case over at pcGameware today. If you are case shopping you might want to give this review read.
The NZXT S340 came well packaged in a smart black 'n white box, and once out of the box appreciation for this little ATX case immediately began to grow. Maybe there's something about small things (ask my misses! ), but there's just something about the S340 that makes it desirable from the get go! It's not the shape either as let's be fair it's a square (well rectangular actually) box, but it still looks good.

CoD: Advanced Warfare "Reverse Boosting" Bans
This is exactly the kind of crap that keeps me from playing CoD games online.
No one wants to lose an objective based match by effectively being outnumbered while their teammate shoots grenades into their own forehead 100 times in the corner. It's not right, and it hurts you and your team's online experience.

Your Computer And Smartphone, Held Hostage
We've all heard of ransomware but have any of you actually had it happen to you or someone you know?
It's called ransomware, a type of malicious code that leaves its victims feeling personally violated. Some versions destroy your data if you don't pay, while others merely threaten. And some versions will encrypt your device, scrambling everything it contains until you pay a ransom. And if your device encrypted and locked, you're toast -- with no way to remove the malware.
