Dashlane, LastPass can now change passwords automatically
Changing passwords is a chore. It's such a chore that many people didn't bother even in the wake of the Heartbleed fiasco. A Pew survey taken in April showed 61% of Internet users aware of the Heartbleed flaw actually took action.
Now, two purveyors of password management software, LastPass and Dashlane, have introduced functionality to automate the process. This isn't a ...

Intel may enter the wearables space in earnest next year—at least if the latest rumors are any indication. There's already word of the company powering the next Google Glass gizmo, and now, Business Insider reports that Intel may also join forces with a Swiss watchmaker on an x86 smartwatch.
The site names TAG Heuer as Intel's potential partner, and it expects a "sleek, classy watch" that may look more like a proper Swiss timepiece than a tech gadget. Apparently, the Withings Activité is a good example of ...

Samsung's 850 EVO solid-state drive reviewed
Samsung's 850 EVO SSD has been a long time coming. We got our first hint of its existence in July, when the firm revealed that it was developing a TLC version of its 3D V-NAND. More details on the three-bit variant were released in August, when Samsung confirmed that the flash was destined for the 850 EVO. Then, in October, mass production of TLC V-NAND chips began, setting the stage for today's formal unveiling.
The new EVO has some Shaq-sized shoes to fill. Samsung claims that its predecessor, the 840 EVO, is the best-selling SSD on the market. We haven't seen sales figures to support that ...
