Microsoft Offering 50 Free Albums for Download
Looking for a sweet deal on some good albums, but running a little low on cash? You should check out Microsoft's Holiday Freebies promotion. Microsoft is pushing 50 free albums to draw attention to its Xbox Music Service now through December 15th.

The Xbox Music application is available through the Windows Store, Windows Phone Store, Apple App Store and Google Play.

NASA to Launch First Orion Spaceship Test Flight This Week
NASA is preparing to get back into the business of space exploration with the first live test of Lockheed Martin's Orion capsule. The capsule will most likely be the craft that will eventually take astronauts into deep space and other planets, namely Mars, and return safely to Earth. The launch is scheduled for Thursday and will be broadcast live on the Internet.

During its 4.5-hour trip, Orion will orbit Earth twice and travel to an altitude of 3,600 miles into space," NASA officials said in a statement. "The flight is designed to test many of the elements that pose the greatest risk to astronauts and will provide critical data needed to improve Orion's design and reduce risks to future mission crews."
