Wednesday after two nights of racially charged unrest following a U.S.
grand jury decision to clear a white policeman over the killing of an

sharp contrast to the hundreds who took the streets on Monday in a night

East Coast storm hampers Thanksgiving travel

East Coast snarled traffic and disrupted flights for millions of
Americans at the start of the long Thanksgiving weekend, traditionally
the busiest time of the year for U.S. travel. The nor'easter that formed
over the Gulf of Mexico brought rain to cities including New York and
Boston. Higher elevations in New England will see about a foot of snow,
National Weather Service meteorologist Andrew Orrison said on Wednesday.
"Either way, travel is not going to be in a good state," Orrison said.

Cleveland video shows police shot boy within seconds
By Kim Palmer CLEVELAND (Reuters) - Cleveland officials on Wednesday released a video of the fatal police shooting of a 12-year-old boy that shows him pointing a pellet gun around a park before police arrive and shoot him within two seconds. Tamir E. Rice was shot by a patrol officer on Saturday after a 911 call reported someone pointing a gun at people at the Cudell Recreation Center. The caller said the gun could be a fake.
