(PR) AMD Awarded $32 Million for 'Extreme Scale' High-Performance Computing Research
AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced that for the third straight year it was awarded research grants for development of critical technologies needed for extreme-scale computing in conjunction with projects associated with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Extreme-Scale Computing Research and Development Program, known as "FastForward 2."
The two DOE awards, totaling more than $32 million, will fund research focused on exascale applications for AMD Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) based on the open-standard Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA), as well as future memory systems to power a generation of exascale supercomputers capable of delivering 30-60 times more performance than today's fastest supercomputers.

The farbwerk is a RGB LED controller with four independent channels. Due to the high processing performance it is possible to display natural and smooth color transitions. (PR) Logitech Proposes FY 2014 Dividend Increase of 25%
Logitech International today announced that its Board of Directors has approved an annual dividend for FY 2014 of CHF 0.26 per share, an increase of 25 percent over the prior year, following a year of strong cash flow from operations. The annual dividend is subject to shareholder approval and is expected to be confirmed at Logitech's upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is scheduled for Dec. 18, 2014 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The ex-dividend date is expected to be Dec. 24, 2014. If approved by shareholders at the Company's AGM, the approximate payment date for the dividend is expected to be Dec. 30, 2014. Informational materials about the AGM will be mailed to Logitech registered shareholders during the week of Nov. 24, 2014.
