Gaming on the Grid with Nvidia's Shield Tablet
Music and video streaming are big business these days. Game streaming hasn't taken off in the same way, but Nvidia has big plans for it. For more than a year, the company has been working on a Grid Game Streaming service that pipes PC games to its Shield devices. A preview of that service is available for free on Shield handhelds and tablets until June 30, 2015. Since we've already looked at the Shield tablet's native gaming chops and its local PC streaming capabilities, we decided to give Grid a shot.

Symantec says a Stuxnet-like trojan has been spying for years
Symantec says it has discovered powerful malware that's been spying on governments, corporations, researchers, and private individuals. On top of those, the board has dual 10-GigE connections fueled by an Intel X540 chip. And teaming is supported, which allows the onboard connections to form a single link with a monstrous 22Gbps of bandwidth.
So, what's all the extra bandwidth for? Making your Internet faster, of course. The press release starts like so: "If you are unsatisfied with your internet bandwidth but at the same time reluctant to succumb to those malevolent internet providers, ...

Just Cause 3 won't have multiplayer at launch
The guys at GameInformer have another scoop about the next Just Cause game, and this one isn't really cause for celebration. Turns out that Just Cause 3's sandbox experience will be single-player-only to start. The game won't ship with a multiplayer mode.
Just Cause 2 was similarly lacking when it came out four years ago, but crafty modders (with Square Enix's blessing) added an unofficial multiplayer ...
