Destiny Sequel Already Underway?
Let me get this straight, Bungie doesn't have time to fix its current game (unless you call closing loot caves, nerfing weapons and screwing with boss battles "fixing"), but they are already working on a sequel to Destiny?

Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg said during the firm's earnings call on Tuesday that Bungie has already begun work on the "next full game release" in the new Destiny IP, along with more DLC expansion content for the existing game, which launched in September.

Google 'Polling Place Lookup' Strikes Out
Does Google's Polling Place Lookup work for any of you?

The Doodle on Google's homepage this Election Day morning is a flag-adorned, spinning ballot box that when clicked brings one to a search box labeled "Polling place lookup." It's a good thing I already know where to vote. I tried my current Massachusetts address: Strike 1. I tried my previous address in the city of Worcester: Strike 2. I tried my childhood home: Strike 3.

Xbox Fall 2015 Lineup Deemed 'Crazy' By Microsoft
Isn't it a little early to be talking about how "crazy" Microsoft's 2015 fall line-up is going to be? I mean, fall 2014 isn't over yet.

"Looking at production schedules and how things are lining up, next fall is just crazy," he said. "This fall from a first party/third party standpoint is great. Next fall, honestly it's not hype at all, I honestly don't know that we can actually ship all the stuff that thinks it's trying to ship next fall. It just might be too crowded and we might purposely try to move some things out to spread it."

Britain's Spy Chief Says US Tech Firms Aid Terrorism
I'm not saying I agree with this guy but it is hard to dispute his claims when there are terrorists tweeting 90 times a minute and have more Facebook followers than professional athletes.

Technology giants such as Facebook and Twitter have become "the command and control networks of choice" for terrorists and criminals but are "in denial" about the scale of the problem, the new head of GCHQ has said. Robert Hannigan said that Isil terrorists in Syria and Iraq have "embraced the web" and are using it to intimidate people and inspire "would-be jihadis" from all over the world to join them.

MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G
Overclockers Club just published a review of the MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G this afternoon for those of you interested.

Using this slimmed down approach, I was able to bump the core clock speed turbo boost speed to 1525MHz, or about 75MHz higher than the reference card's overclock on both the memory and GPU core. Thanks to MSI's custom build and component selection, we get even higher clock speeds capable if you push the limits, and with cooler temperatures. By overclocking this card, I saw a nice 800+ point boost in 3DMark's Fire Strike Extreme test."

Although this is really good advice, you know for a fact that other companies are working as fast as they can, quality be damned, to be the first to market.

The virtual reality industry is "anybody's game", according to one of the people behind Oculus Rift -- but Oculus founder Brendan Iribe warns rival gaming giants not to "poison the well" by bringing out VR devices that aren't ready.

It would appear that all of the original Pirate Bay founders are now in custody. Looking at the details of the arrest, it is astounding this guy avoided capture for so long.
