Next Two Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Cosplay Character Guides Released: Wilhelm and Claptrap
Every week in May, Gearbox Software has released "Cosplay Character Guides" for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Gearbox started with Athena and Nisha, and has now added Wilhelm and Claptrap. Borderlands Franchise Director Matt Armstrong describes Wilhelm as: "Galaxy famous mercenary. Undefeated warrior. After an injury forced him to get a replacement mechanical eye, he becomes obsessed with the idea of upgrading through technology. When Jack offers him access to the greatest augmentation technology Hyperion has to offer, he joins without hesitation, oblivious to the loss of humanity he has doomed himself to." For Claptrap, Armstrong was a bit more terse: "Claptrap is Claptrap. For better or worse ...mostly worse."
You can view all the images for both characters below, but be sure to check the source news posts for hi-res images and the PDF files, which contain all the details like the color palette.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is coming to PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in Fall 2014.

Unreal Tournament Developers Show Off Prototype
Despite the next Unreal Tournament being announced roughly a month ago, Epic Games is already showing off a prototype of the free title that includes basic character movements and basic weapon systems. Using the prototype, Epic Games developers played through a round of deathmatch in order to show off the work that has been completed on the game since its announcement. By playing through the prototype, developers were able to address issues within the early build of the game, such as the minigun being overpowered which made it nearly unstoppable against other weapons. Gamers who have a subscription to Unreal Engine 4 can download and play the provided prototype, and also make their own for other gamers to play and experience.
Besides the prototype being shown off, developers at Epic Games revealed that they are also working on a new logo for Unreal Tournament and are setting up social media channels for communication and marketing purposes.
