NZXT Introduces Three Groundbreaking Products With CAM Software Functionality
In May, NZXT introduced the world to its first piece of software, CAM. A simple companion for your PC, CAM brings cloud integration, mobile support and a modern user interface together to create an effortless PC management experience. Now, NZXT is proud to introduce the first three CAM compatible products, the GRID+, the Kraken X41 and the Kraken X61.
GRID+ is a digital fan controller with 6 channels and up to 30 watts total output. Working alongside CAM's desktop and mobile applications, the GRID+ software allows you to manually or automatically adjust and monitor your fan speeds with ease. Additionally, CAM will notify you of any abnormalities such as disconnected fans, unusual voltage or odd fan speeds. Following in the footsteps of NZXT's original Grid, GRID+ can be installed in any discreet location, making cable management a breeze.
The Kraken X41 and X61 take NZXT's industry-leading 140/280mm CLC platform to new heights by combining the latest in cooling hardware and software technology. The new Krakens are the first consumer closed loop coolers with integrated variable speed pumps to provide minimal noise during use without sacrificing top end pump power.

Crucial MX100 SSD
Our friends at PC Perspective have Crucial's new MX100 SSD on the test bench this evening for a little review action.
Given the MX100 was to be a budget SSD primarily meant to target the upgrade market, it was refreshing to see such strong performance from 16nm flash. Even better was the extremely competitive launch pricing. The 512GB capacity delivers excellent performance at less than $0.50/GB.

Scientists 3D Printing Human Blood Vessels
While this is amazing stuff, I'm not sure I would want to be the first person they try it out.
The tangled highway of blood vessels that twists and turns inside our bodies, delivering essential nutrients and disposing of hazardous waste to keep our organs working properly has been a conundrum for scientists trying to make artificial vessels from scratch. Now a team from Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) has made headway in fabricating blood vessels using a three-dimensional (3D) bioprinting technique.

Netflix: 'Comcast Wants The Entire Internet to Pay Them'
Just imagine what would happen if big companies like Netflix actually stood up to Comcast instead of just caving in.
"If [they] charge a little bit now, they'll charge more and more and more," Hastings said. "They want the whole Internet to pay them for when their subscribers use the Internet." "Someone has to stand up for what's important. We're raising the question - [Comcast will] have 40 percent of residential Internet what does it mean when one company has that kind of control?"

Protestors Oppose Repaying 38 Studios' $75M Bond
I think taxpayers have every right to be pissed over this deal. Unfortunately, I don't think the state cares one bit.
"It's a scam. It's a rip-off. We shouldn't pay it back," said one. "It's unconstitutional to sell bonds without the approval of the voters . Now Wall Street is telling us we have to pay these bonds? No, we don't," said another.

A few days ago my benchmarking revealed Windows 8.1 is outperforming Ubuntu Linux with the latest Intel open-source graphics drivers on Haswell hardware. I have since conducted tests on the Celeron N2820 NUC, and sadly, the better OpenGL performance is found with Microsoft's operating system.

Microsoft: More Must Be Done With PC Gaming
Let's all hope that Microsoft is serious when they say that more must be done with PC gaming.
When a user asked if such games would come to Games For Windows (in favor of downloading Steam), Spencer was quick to respond. "I agree that Microsoft needs to up our gaming presence on Windows. Part of my Xbox role is to bring back our Windows gaming focus."
