ASUS Radeon R9 290 DirectCU II OC Video Card Review
We've posted our evaluation of the ASUS Radeon R9 290 DirectCU II OC today for your viewing pleasure. If you want a well-built, factory overclocked video card that is also easy on the ears, this review is definitely for you.

On our test bench today is a factory overclocked Radeon R9 290 from ASUS sporting the DirectCU II cooling system. We will compare it to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 to determine which card reins supreme. AMD prices have finally stabilized back to normal, and this pushes one card into an extreme disadvantage from the other.

GoPro Files For An IPO
According to Engadget, GoPro is going public.

The company just filed its S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission, so you can expect to see the ticker symbol GPRO on NASDAQ in due course. There's no shortage of financial types digging through the document as we type (bits to note: the company managed to turn a pretty profit last year, and it shipped a net total of nearly 4 million cameras in 2013), but the story is clear -- GoPro is a big deal, and it's going to get even bigger.

90 People Nabbed In Global Hacker Crackdown

The sweep, capping a two-year operation, was coordinated so suspects didn't have time to destroy evidence. It included the arrest of a Swedish hacker who was a co-creator of Blackshades, Alex Yucel, who was apprehended in Moldova. In total, one of the largest global cyber-crime crackdowns has yielded the arrests of more than 90 people linked to the Blackshades malware, with more than 300 searches conducted, Bharara said.

YouTube Buying Twitch For $1B?
YouTube buying Twitch for $1 billion? What's with all these billion dollar acquisitions lately?

Google's YouTube has reached a deal to buy Twitch, a popular videogame-streaming company, for more than $1 billion, according to sources familiar with the pact. The deal, in an all-cash offer, is expected to be announced imminently, sources said. If completed the acquisition would be the most significant in the history of YouTube, which Google acquired in 2006 for $1.65 billion.
