The expectations we have for a good mid-tower are pretty high in 2014. We want a case that can handle the most high-end components regardless of length or height, we want good cooling, lots of room to hide the cables as well as space for lots of drives. both SSD's and regular 3.5″-drives. Power Saving Techniques In AMD's Steamroller
The crew over at Real World Technologies is taking a look at the power saving techniques used in AMD's 28nm Steamroller core. Definitely recommended reading. Head on over and check it out.

Recently, AMD described advanced power management techniques that reduce power consumption by 10-20% in Steamroller, a high performance microprocessor. This technique uses an adaptive clocking system that cleverly compensates for power supply noise to reduce voltage, thereby saving power. This technique is likely to be adopted across AMD's entire product line including upcoming GPUs, x86 CPUs, ARM-based CPUs, and other critical blocks in highly integrated SoCs.

Major ISPs Accused Of Deliberately Throttling Traffic
How dare anyone make such preposterous allegations against our beloved ISPs? Claiming internet service providers would deliberately throttle internet traffic is almost sacrilegious. We all know that internet service providers would never dream of putting profits ahead of customers!
