(PR) LEPA Introduces the LEPAD S17 Notebook Cooler
The new LEPAD S17 notebook cooler accomplishes two tasks at once: Its 14 cm fan supports the cooling system of overloaded and overheated mobile computers, and the two integrated speakers improve the sound output quality. For best possible air circulation and an effective elimination of hot spots, LEPA applies a wide steel mesh surface. The cooling performance can be adjusted according to the particular system requirements thanks to a seamless fan speed control. It ranges from 800 to 1,300 RPM.

Notebook sound systems will not always fulfill the expectations of audiophiles. The speakers distort the sound and the volume is too low. With two full-surround satellite speakers and an integrated amplifier, the LEPAD S17 provides a well-balanced, clear and strong audio output.

(PR) Gigabyte Bundling GeForce GTX Titan Black with WindForce Cooler
Just like it did with the first Titan, Gigabyte Technology has decided on pairing up NVIDIA's GeForce GTX Titan Black with its own WindForce 3X 600W cooling system. There is a catch to this solution though as buyers will need to replace the stock cooler of the GTX Titan Black with Gigabyte's three-fan solution.

The Titan card available in this bundle has its 6 GB of GDDR5 memory at the standard frequency (7,000 MHz) but the GPU has higher than stock clocks - the base clock is 1006 MHz (up from 889 MHz) while the boost clock is 1111 MHz (980 MHz stock). The rest of the specs are as expected - 2880 CUDA Cores, a 384-bit memory interface, 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe power connectors, and dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.

Intel Core "Haswell" Refresh CPUs Launch Date Revealed
It looks like Intel will launch its Core "Haswell" Refresh line of processors sooner than Computex 2014. According to sources in the IT retail, Intel could launch these new chips, led by the Core i7-4790K, on May 10th in most markets. An armada of new socket LGA1150 motherboards, based on Intel's Z97 Express chipset should launch around those dates, probably in the week leading up to the 10th. Intel Core "Haswell" Refresh processors offer marginally better performance over current Core "Haswell" chips, at existing price points (i.e., they will displace existing chips from their current price-points); while the 9-series chipset offers features such as M.2 SSD support, making you ready for a tidal wave of 1000 MB/s SSDs that will launch around Computex.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880 Detailed
NVIDIA's next-generation GeForce GTX 880 graphics card is shaping up to be a true successor to the GTX 680. According to a Tyden.cz report, GTX 880 will be based on NVIDIA's GM204 silicon, which ranks within its product stack in the same way GK104 does to the GeForce "Kepler" family. It won't be the biggest chip based on the "Maxwell" architecture, but will have what it takes to outperform even the GK110, again, in the same way GK104 outperforms GF110. The DirectX 12-ready chip will feature an SMM (streaming multiprocessor Maxwell) SIMD design that's identical to that of the GeForce GTX 750 Ti, only there are more SMMs, spread across multiple graphics processing clusters (GPCs), probably cushioned by a large slab of cache.
This is what the GTX 880 is shaping up to be.
