Samsung's PRO tablet lineup includes two 12.2'' slates
Tablets in the 7-8" range have become increasingly popular over the past couple of years. In 2014, we could see slates larger than 10" stake out a slice of the market for themselves. Samsung is firing first with a pair of 12.2" Android tablets: the Galaxy NotePRO and the Galaxy TabPRO. The NotePRO comes with the company's S Pen stylus, but the two devices are otherwise identical. And they're loaded.

New mobile Radeon R5 M230, R9 M290X look similar to 8000M series
At yesterday's press event, AMD announced three new mobile Radeons: the R5 M230, R7 M265, and R9 M290X. The company didn't disclose specifications at the time, but it's now rectified that omission—or at least, partially so. GeForce 332.21 WHQL drivers add SLI, 3D Vision profiles
CES or not, it's business as usual for Nvidia's driver team this week. The team has just posted a new set of GeForce graphics drivers blessed with certification from Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs. You'll find this 332.21 WHQL release here in 64-bit form and here for 32-bit users.
According to the announcement on the GeForce.com blog , these drivers include a bunch of new SLI profiles. Assetto Corsa , EVE Online (DirectX 11), Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare , and Thief are all covered. 3D Vision profiles for Injustice: Gods Among Us ...

Valve outlines specs, prices for retail Steam machines
Commercial Steam machines aren't due out until the second half of this year, and their manufacturers are, for the most part, tight-lipped about specs and pricing. However, a handy PDF file on the Steam website reveals basic specs and pricing information about most, if not all, of the systems Valve demoed last night. Couple that with what little info has trickled out from the manufacturers themselves, and we can get a decent good idea of what's in store.

Intel's Edison is a dual-core computer the size of an SD card
At IDF in September, Intel revealed a tiny Quark processor that's one fifth the size of an Atom SoC. It quickly followed up with a Galileo development board that pairs the chip with an Arduino-compatible platform. Now, a dual-core version of the Quark CPU has made its way into Edison, a tiny PC the size of an SD card.
