Roomba Reportedly Activates Itself, Commits Suicide
In one of the first cases of robot suicide, a Roomba vacuuming robot managed to activate itself and somehow crawl onto a hot stove top and committed robocide.
"I don't know about the allegations of a robot suicide but the homeowner is insistent that the device was switched off it's a mystery how it came to be activated and ended up making its way to the hotplate."

FCC May Relax Ban on In-Flight Cell Phone Use
The US is playing follow the leader with the rest of the world when it comes to cell phone use aboard air flights. Other countries have already relaxed restrictions on the use of in-flight cellphones and by all indications, the US will soon follow suit.

Michael Dell Encourages Employees to Work from Home

Microsoft is going back to school, at least as part of the curriculum. Microsoft will be offering certification training to 275 high schools in Queensland, Australia in accredited courses for graduation credit.
Units cover topics from basic internet security to technical certifications for enterprise software products such as SQL Server and SharePoint.

Foxconn to Invest $40M in Pennsylvania Manufacturing
Foxconn, one of China's largest manufacturing corporations and best known for its Apple affiliation, (and employees committing suicide) will be developing a new facility in Harrisburg. Foxconn will be investing $30 Million in manufacturing and another $10 Million into Research and Development.
According to Foxconn chief Terry Gou, the company will create 500 jobs in Pennsylvania with the facility. Foxconn has another plant in the area that accounts for 30 employees.

Pirate Bay Co-Founder Will Be Extradited to Denmark
With only one month remaining on his jail sentence in Sweden, Pirate Bay Co-Founder Gottfrid Warg will be extradited to Denmark to face similar charges of hacking and the possibility of additional jail time.
It is not the first time Svartholm Warg has faced extradition. In 2012 he was arrested in Cambodia and deported to Sweden where he was arrested for his involvement in the Logica hack.
