Thermaltake Urban S31 Mid-Tower Case
If you are shopping for a new mid-tower case, make sure you read our evaluation of the Thermaltake Urban S31. Trust us, you'll be glad you did.
Thermaltake sets its sights on a part of the market that is looking for an excellent enthusiast case with a look that is not over the top, but rather more refined and sleek. Along with that Thermaltake promises "extreme silent performance" and "advanced ventilation" along with a helping of space for those water cooling users.

What Comes Next After Windows 8.1?
Windows 8.1 isn't officially out yet and we are already worried about what is coming next? My money is on Windows 9.
Right now and this may change the idea is to deliver a "major" release of "Windows" in the Spring of 2015. My aforementioned source says this major release will be a kind of hybrid that will bring the current Windows and Windows Phone OSes closer together. This is most likely when the rumored unified Windows and Windows Phone Store will debut. (There could be a unified developer portal, allowing developers to submit apps for both platforms before the actual store materializes, I'm hearing.)

Spooked By NSA, eBay Founder Plans Hard-Hitting News Site
I guess if you are going to attempt something like this, having a few billion dollars in your bank account is a good start.

Stupid Criminals of the Day
I'm not an expert or anything, but maybe it's not such a good idea to strap a GoPro to your helmet before committing a combined total of $22,000 in traffic offenses.
At the time of the stop, police said one of the motorcyclists attempted to conceal a video camera, but police seized it. Police say the video contained evidence of several dozen driving infractions committed that day. The 26-year-old driver was issued tickets for 21 infractions, fined $11,268 and given 116 demerit points. The 29-year-old driver was also issued tickets for 21 infractions, fined $10,968 and given 113 demerit points.

Raijintek Ereboss Heatsink
The gang over at FrostyTech say that, despite the lame rubber fan mounts, the Raijintek Ereboss heatsink actually performs very well.
The Ereboss is a big boxy cooler that stands 159mm tall and looks a little bit like a 4U HP server heatsink on steroids. Hyperbole aside, the Raijintek Ereboss heatsink is built around six 6mm diameter copper heatpipes which weave their way up from a nickel-plated copper base plate to a voluminous aluminum fin stack measuring 105mm tall and 112x140mm wide.

Ubisoft Shares Dive 25% After Games Are Delayed
It looks like delaying Watch Dogs has hit Ubisoft pretty damn hard. I'm not sure what they thought was going to happen but missing the next-gen holiday launch is huge. Disappointing customers that pre-ordered the game and / or consoles with bundled games just adds insult to injury. Thanks to Yakk for the link.
Shares of French videogames publisher Ubisoft slumped more than 25 percent to an eight-month low on Wednesday after delaying the release of two titles until next year, missing the holiday season in the hotly competitive industry. Ubisoft blamed the delay on pressure to meet consumer expectations in the $66 billion hit-driven videogames industry and said the decision would cause it to swing to an operating loss for its 2013 to 2014 fiscal year.

More Info On Xbox One Free Dedicated Servers
This post by Albert Penello in the NeoGaf forums goes a long way toward clearing up some of the info out there about the free dedicated servers for the Xbox One.
Also to be clear. One of the benefits of publishing games on Xbox One ALL game developers get Dedicated Servers, Cloud Processing, and "storage" (for save games) free. If you want to do dedicated servers on other platforms, you have to prop them yourself. But on Xbox One, while developers can choose to use their own methods, we make it available to everyone. There should be no confusion on this point. We do not charge developers for Dedicated Servers.
