SilverStone SST-AR01 Heatsink
Benchmark Reviews has the SilverStone SST-AR01 strapped to the test bench today for a little review action. For comparison purposes, you can see our evaluation here.

At the end of the day, the AR01 performs its function adequately. It'll keep an FX CPU cool, so it should keep almost every other CPU cool as well. The installation was comparable to other products, and the fan mounting system was the best I've had a chance to work with.

R.I.P. Windows?
This guy is trying to make the case that, since Microsoft bought Nokia's smartphone division, the company has killed Windows.

Windows is dead. Let's all salute it—pour out a glass for it, burn a CD for it, reboot your PC one last time. Windows had a good run. For a time, it powered the world. But that era is over. It was killed by the unlikeliest of collaborations—Microsoft's ancient enemies working over decades, in concert: Steve Jobs, Linus Torvalds, and most of all, two guys named Larry and Sergey.

The Country's First Inpatient Program For Internet Addicts
Let me be the first to say "hell no" to a $14,000 ten day inpatient program for internet addiction that isn't covered by insurance.

Ten years ago, Kevin Roberts suffered from an addiction that took over his life. Roberts, now 44 years old, would sit eight to 12 hours a day in front of the pale blue glow of his computer, playing a videogame. During holidays, he "binged," spending nearly all his waking hours at his keyboard. Finally, a friend who had been through Alcoholics Anonymous told him he displayed all the same characteristics of an addict.

ICANN Kills Google Dotless Domain Hopes
One of the only reasons this story is interesting is because Google didn't get its way.

Google's request for dotless top-level Internet domains have received a resounding 'no' from the Internet Architecture Board (IAB), and now ICANN has also rejected the tech giant's desires. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has rejected Google's wish to introduce a new dotless domain system, designed to save users even more time when typing in a web address.

Next Android Called 'KitKat'
Gimme a break.

Android is the operating system that powers over 1 billion smartphones and tablets. The Next Microsoft CEO Poll
Alright, this page is pretty funny. I'm not sure if it was intended to be that way...but it is. The sad part is, if the number one candidate on this list had the job, we'd still be waiting on Windows 3.

Ballmer Says Elop A Candidate For Microsoft CEO
Can someone explain to me why Microsoft would consider this guy for CEO? Was it his two years heading up Microsoft's Office division? Was it his performance at the helm of Nokia?

In a comment that should surprise no one, Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer said Tuesday that Nokia's Stephen Elop is a candidate to replace him. "Stephen will go from external [candidate] to internal," Ballmer told the Seattle Times, though he also said the Microsoft board will evaluate all candidates.
