Hardware Roundup: Intel Core i7 4770K Edition
Intel's Haswell line of processors is finally here, with the Core i7 4770K launching first. This is the flagship of the line, with four cores, eight threads, and an unlocked multiplier ensuring performance is right where you need it. The 4770K features a 3.5GHz base clock and a 3.9GHz Turbo clock, plus it supports dual channel DDR3 RAM up to 1600MHz. We have a variety of reviews on it for you to check out, in addition to OCC's own review. There's even a look at a few Z87 motherboards to give you an idea of where your new processor is going to be. Intel created the new 1150 socket for the Haswell parts, so you'll definitely need a new motherboard for your new processor.
