Deal of the week: IPS monitors and games
We've already featured inexpensive IPS panels in our recent deal posts, but prices are still inching down, so we feel compelled to revisit the subject. Right now, believe it or not, Newegg has a 21.5" LG monitor with a 1080p IPS panel on sale for only $119.99 shipped. And it's not the only sub-$200 IPS bargain out there. Newegg also has 23", 1080p IPS monitors from Acer and LG priced at $159.99 each. Both displays have free shipping and stellar user reviews, with five-star average ratings. I assume ...

Angering hippies and financing evil
Seeing as how nobody else has released a Steve Jobs mockumentary ("These mold lines go to eleven!") and nothing on my Hackintosh has flipped me the zero-one-zero, let's go back to commentating on this week's Apple-related news.

The report also states ...

Spies vs. mercenaries multiplayer returns to Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Unique multiplayer gaming experiences are few and far between these days. Just about everything has been done to death. The Splinter Cell franchise has something a little different to offer, though. Way back in 2004, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow introduced a novel multiplayer mode that pitted Sam Fisher-esque spies against heavily armed mercenaries. The asymmetrical matchup made for intense gameplay, and it was absent from the last chapter in the franchise. However, the following trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist reveals that adversarial multiplayer is making a return.
