We posted on this earlier today in our gaming news round-up but I wanted to give this a post of its own so you guys can comment on it.

We are pleased to have attracted a strong financial partner for our business, and we hope to complete the sale swiftly to make the process as seamless as possible."

Apple 'Pinch-to-Zoom' Patent Invalidated Apple isn't having much luck with its patents lately. The agency declared invalid the entirety of Apple's patent on Wednesday, according to a document issued by the patent office that was filed by Samsung in federal court in San Jose, Calif. China Promises To Improve Intellectual Property Protection Chinese officials today promised U.S. trade negotiators to do more to combat piracy and protect intellectual property rights. I'm not saying I don't believe them but I'm sure as hell not holding my breath. Minister Chen Deming said that while Beijing agreed to address those longstanding U.S. complaints, American officials at Wednesday's U.S-China Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade (JCCT) meeting promised to address China's demands for greater exports of U.S. high-technology products and to facilitate more Chinese investment in the United States. Thieves Steal $2M Worth of Wii Consoles It looks like the best deals for Wii U consoles will be on Craigslist in Seattle this Christmas. What's with all these elaborate heists at airports lately? West explains the thieves drove two large diesel trucks into a Nintendo distribution site inside Seattle Air Cargo on Saturday evening around 9 o'clock. The thieves worked together to snatch up thousands of consoles by operating forklifts within the warehouse. Pirate Party Shuts Down Pirate Bay Proxy Hmmm, no one wants to be sued into oblivion for helping The Pirate Bay? That's a shocker. The UK Pirate Party has taken down its popular Pirate Bay proxy. While no official statement has yet been released, it's believed that legal threats made by music industry group BPI are behind the unexpected move. The decision comes a few days after six individual Pirate Party members received a letter from the BPI's solicitors. ITC Judge Sides With Apple Against Google Apple, the big loser in court earlier this week, is now the winner in a case against Google. Tune in next week when Google wins, Apple loses, one of the two appeals and both end up sued by someone else. Google's Motorola Mobility unit cannot assert a patent against Apple Inc which covers a sensor that stops phone users from dialing wrong numbers on touchscreen devices, a U.S. trade judge ruled.
