John McAfee: Still on the Run
Contrary to popular blog posts, namely his, John McAfee hasn't been sandboxed and is still in the wild, just like many of the viruses his software is supposed to catch. All weekend, news outlets have been reporting that he had been captured at the Mexican border. The rumor was actually started by John McAfee himself from a blog entry. This guy is probably a real big hit at parties.
McAfee himself has professed to concocting up elaborate disguises to evade authorities, including dying all of his hair (mustache and eyebrows included) jet black in one instance and, in another, allegedly impersonating a limping Guatemalan so well that it fooled an Associated Press reporter standing nearby.

The Zeus botnet control servers were taken down and seized during operations last spring. Overall, Zeus is an infection framework that allows attackers to create malware and spread it using spam campaigns.
