The Right Video Game Makes You A Faster Driver
Normally I would laugh at a claim like this but, not only does this guy know his racing games, he's actually a real-life race car driver too.

As a professional driver and a frequent video gamer I can attest that, yes, video games can absolutely make you faster, but only if you pick the right game.

Following the trend of its user base, Facebook's stock continues to drop. Wait until the company deletes all the fake/dupe/spam accounts.

Washington to Unveil Voter Registration On Facebook
Two things that should never, ever, ever be mentioned in the same sentence...Facebook and voter registration.

Once it's live, Facebook users can click on the application within the secretary of state's Facebook page. They'll need to agree to let Facebook access their information, which will be used to prefill their name and date of birth in the voter registration form. Users will still need to provide a driver's license or state ID card number to continue.

Apple Store Worried About Perverts
Guess they should have thought about this before they built those glass stair cases.

Apple stores in HK have brought plenty of good things, however, the aesthetic appeal of the cylinder glass staircase and glass-wall have an unfortunate side-effect where male customers can see up a woman's skirt from the walkway.

Call me crazy, but I really think Skype should have just called this bug a "feature." C'mon, it would have been great, a cross between drunk dialing and a booty call.

Skype has fixed a bug in its client that sent users' private instant messages to other contacts whom the messages were never intended for. Microsoft has started releasing hotfixes for the affected versions, starting with Windows and Linux.

Judge Dismisses Novell's Antitrust Suit Against Microsoft
How long has this case been dragging on? Honestly, after eight years, people don't care about who "wins," they just want to quit hearing about it.

Although Novell presented evidence from which a jury could have found that Microsoft engaged in aggressive conduct, perhaps to monopolize or attempt to monopolize the applications market, it did not present evidence sufficient for a jury to find that Microsoft committed any acts that violated s.2 [of the Sherman Act; U.S. antitrust laws] in maintaining its monopoly in the operating systems market. Therefore, Microsoft's motion [to dismiss] will be granted.

Anti-Piracy Group Fined For Stealing Music
Isn't it ironic that an anti-piracy group is busted for ripping off a musician? Damn shame groups like this feel they don't have to abide by the very laws they had put in place.

Five years ago a composer created music for use in a one-off anti-piracy video. However, without his permission it was used time and again on dozens of commercial DVDs such as Harry Potter. Even in the wake of a huge controversy over "corrupt" and "mafia-like" practices, the local music rights group that got involved in the case failed to pay him the money he was owed. The case went to court and this week the music rights group lost.
