Chrome takes over as browser king

In September 2008 Google’s Chrome browser was a measly 3.1% according to w3schools.com, but in a mere three years Chrome has managed to surpass Internet Explorer and Firefox in browser usage.  As of April 2012, Chrome’s usage was 38.3%, followed by Firefox with 35.8% and 18.3% from IE.

Asus gets official on its first two Thunderbolt motherboards

A little bit earlier than we anticipated, Asus has unveiled not one, but two Thunderbolt equipped motherboards, the previously seen P8Z77-V Premium as well as the P8Z77-V Pro/Thunderbolt. The latter of the two is quite similar to the P8Z77-V Pro, although with some minor differences and of course a price tag that should be a fair bit higher.

Upcoming Apple-Samsung meeting might see an end to feud

Microsoft crashes Mark Zuckerberg's wedding with So.cl

Just a day after Mark Zuckerberg gets married to long-time girlfriend Priscilla Chan, Microsoft silently launches its experimental So.cl (“social”) service.  Perhaps Microsoft is trying to take advantage of the Facebook-CEO post wedding jubilations to gain some grounds in the internet social media market.  Chances are Priscilla is not allowing Mark to mix work with their honeymoon, so this might be Microsoft’s most brilliant plan yet. In all seriousness, however, can Microsoft really hope to take away some of Facebook’s users?
