Are You A Cyberpunk?
Wow, there are so many things wrong with this picture, I don't even know where to begin. I have no idea when this article was published but, given the fact that the stuff in that picture is at least 20 years old, I'm going to say early 90's.

Police Chief Misuses Resources To Find Son's iPhone
Unless you want ten cops, the drug task force and a few detectives on your ass, I'd advise you not to steal his son's iPhone out of his locker at school. Yeah, that really happened.
On January 11, 2012, an iPhone was stolen from the school locker of Meehan's son. Because the phone had tracking capabilities, an investigation was launched that involved up to ten officers, some from the city's drug task force. Four detectives were paid overtime as part of the search.

Konami Sued By Bank For Fraud Over $15M Loan
The real crime in this case was committed by the bank when it gave these guys $15M to make a Def Jam game in the first place.

DotCom Case Sees Tears, FBI, Claims of Betrayal
It looks like the Megaupload case is going to get all soap opera-ish with Dotcom crying in court today. Damn, I thought having to be cut out of his panic room during the arrest was bad, but crying in court? Sheesh, man up dude.
Kim DotCom isn't too big to cry. In court yesterday, the MegaUpload founder choked up when he recalled how New Zealand police in January raided the Auckland mansion where he lived and when, as his lawyer, said he was "ripped him away from his family."

How To Live At AOL
It's funny how, when normal people pull stunts like this, they get arrested for vagrancy. At AOL you are called an entrepreneur.
But unlike most people working at AOL's Palo Alto, Calif., campus who were surely still hours from showing up at the sprawling complex, Simons was already there. He'd been living there for two months, hiding out at night on couches, eating the company's food, and exercising and showering in its gym. And now, with an angry security guard bellowing at him, it was all over.

Thermaltake Frio Advanced and Frio Extreme
Overclockers Club has a little two-for-one review action going on today with its Thermaltake Frio Advanced and Frio Extreme review. Here's a quote from the double header HSF review:
For the price of each of these coolers, I cannot say I was blown away. Taking price, performance, and noise level into consideration, I think there are better options available. With the Frio Extreme, you do get a 10 year warranty and the included remote fan controller, but you'll have to ask yourself if those features make it worth the extra $15-$20 price premium over where I believe it should be priced.
