Dishonored might just be my most anticipated game of 2012. It looks like a mash-up of BioShock, Thief, and Assassin's Creed set in a Dickensian world with plenty of steampunk influences. Check out the new trailer, which offers four minutes of footage and nicely sets the stage.

The Pirate Bay promotes indie artists
Using The Pirate Bay to download legitimate content is sort of like reading Playboy for the articles. Some folks do, but most are there for the pirated stuff, a lot of which resembles what one might find on the pages of a gentleman's magazine. The popular torrent site has started promoting the work of independent artists who make their content available for free, though. Dubbed The Promo Bay, this "promotional apparatus" replaces The Pirate Bay's front-page logo with an image created by the artist, plus links to their work.

New Asus Transformer 300 tablet listed on Amazon
Asus has a new Transformer up its sleeve, and the device has just broken cover on Amazon—albeit only in the form of a pre-order listing. Say hello to the Transformer TF300, which is apparently coming on April 22 with a $489.99 asking price.
The listing says the TF300 has roughly the same specs as Asus' Transformer Prime , including an Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, a 10.1" 1280x800 display, 32GB of storage capacity, and 1GB of RAM. However, ...

Releasing source code for older commercial games isn't uncommon. In fact, id Software has done it with everything from Doom to Quake III to Doom 3, usually a few years after each title's original release. What we have today is something a little different, though.
