RIM Confirms Departures of Two Top BlackBerry, BBM Execs
Two more of RIM's top executives have bailed out of the somewhat leaky boat as restructuring for the company continues. Two Vice Presidents, Alan Brenner and Alistair Mitchell have either left the company or will be leaving soon.
No word on any further departures to come (willing or otherwise)

Scientists Create Quantum Computer in a Diamond
Scientists at the University of Southern California have created a computer within a diamond to test quantum computing theories. This research could lead to super computer speeds, but for the present is still in the experimental stage. A gratuitous tip of the hat to The Weazmeister for the linkage.
A qubit can represent a 0 and a 1 at the same time. This is thanks to the quantum property of superposition, and it's the property that may one day make quantum computers insanely fast.

AT&T to Begin Unlocking Off-Contract iPhones April 8
"Beginning Sunday, April 8, we will offer qualifying customers the ability to unlock their AT&T iPhones. The only requirements are that a customer's account must be in good standing, their device cannot be associated with a current and active term commitment on an AT&T customer account, and they need to have fulfilled their contract term, upgraded under one of our upgrade policies or paid an early termination fee".

In an uncharacteristic move of openness, China has admitted that the Hactivist group Anonymous has been able to breach the Great Firewall of China and hacked into literally hundreds of websites.
Hundreds of Chinese government, company, and other general websites have been hacked and defaced in the span of a few days.
