A Georgetown student has come up with what looks like a sure-fire solution to parking problems in large cities. Starting out in Baltimore and branching out to other large cities in the near future, Nick Miller, CEO of Parking Panda hopes to match up empty parking spaces with parking-challenged commuters.
Renting out your own parking spot is a simple process. You can connect to Facebook to import your basic details, then set a price and schedule to announce your spot's availability.

Judge: MegaUpload Piracy Case May Never Come to Trial
A District Court judge has told the FBI that it is possible that the trial against MegaUpload may never make it inside a court room. This would be due to the negligence of the government's handling of paperwork and the small fact that MegaUpload is located in New Zealand. FBI: Learn to dot your i's and cross your t's.

European Mobile Operator to Charge Extra for VoIP
It looks like all bytes are not considered equal according to TeliaSonera, Europe's fifth largest communications service. TeliaSonera will soon be charging a surcharge on VoIP services traversing across its network. The surcharge will affect 157 million subscribers across Europe.
Disregarding the net neutrality tenet of no data being more equal than others, the carrier will first introduce the new charges in Spain on its Yoigo network in Q2 2012, before bringing them to the Telia network in Sweden in the following months.

Apple Building a $250M Data Center in Central Oregon
Apple will be following the lead of several other major corporations in locating its newest data center in Prineville, Oregon. Facebook, Amazon, Google and several other mega-corps have located there mainly due to property tax exemptions in the county. The project once completed will create 35 full-time positions.
Apple needs storage capacity for its iCloud service to store customers' photos, music and movies. It has a large data center in North Carolina and is building a 100-acre, 20-megawatt solar array there.
