World's Most Ethical Companies
The list of the 145 most ethical companies is now out and Microsoft, Intel and Cisco all made the list. Big names like Apple and Sony were nowhere to be found on the list, beat out by companies like Best Buy and Adobe.

The World's Most Ethical (WME) Companies designation recognizes companies that truly go beyond making statements about doing business "ethically" and translate those words into action. WME honorees not only promote ethical business standards and practices internally, they exceed legal compliance minimums and shape future industry standards by introducing best practices today.

Linus Torvalds: The King of Geeks
Whether or not you agree that Linus Torvalds is "The King of Geeks," you have to admit he is a pretty damn interesting guy.

He leads a double-life. He's the kind of guy who plays poker with the guys for a $20 buy-in every couple of weeks. But at the same time, he in charge of Linux, a truly remarkable open-source software development project that over the past two decades has shaken Microsoft and provided the building blocks for internet giants such as Google, Facebook and Amazon.

Walmart To Let Cash-Only Customers Shop Online
This could turn out to be a great idea if everything goes as planned.

Called "Pay With Cash," the program would allow the approximately 20% of Walmart customers who lack bank accounts or credit cards to reserve products for pick-up online and then pick them up at a nearby Walmart, where they would, as the name suggests, pay with cash.

Gaming Can Inspire Healthy Behavior
I like to post positive gaming news like this. Why? Because it reinforces my personal beliefs and gives me something to do until a negative gaming study comes along that I can crap all over.

A new study that took real-time functional MRI scans of 57 people randomly assigned to either play the game or watch it being played has found that those who played exhibited increased activity in the brain's positive motivation circuits, while those who merely observed exhibited no increase in activity.

Leaked GeForce GTX 680 2GB Benchmarks
It looks like someone has jumped the NDA gun and released a boatload of benchmarks for the GeForce GTX 680 2GB. Obviously we can't comment on any of the info you see here, nor can we vouch for the validity of this information but these numbers will certainly have everyone in the forums buzzing. With that said, we do expect this card to come in around the $500 MSRP mark which, if this info is close to being correct, will make things in the graphics card market VERY interesting.

Judge Calls For Warrants in Cell Phone Tracking Cases
I know this may be hard to believe but there are still judges out there that believe in warrants and probable cause when it comes to law enforcement obtaining cell phone location data.

In this case, the government asked a magistrate judge to approve a request to two cell phone companies for 60 days of cell phone location records as part of a routine law enforcement investigation. The judge denied the request, saying it was necessary for the government to get a warrant based on probable cause before it could obtain the records.

Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 ULTIMATE
Need a passively cooled, budget video card? Overclockers Club seems to like the Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 ULTIMATE. According to the review, the passive cooler actually performs better than a standard reference cooler.
