Samsung Galaxy S II coming to the US via AT&T, Sprint an :: Posted by THRASHER2
It's official folks, Samsung's Galaxy S II flagship will finally arrive on US soil this fall through three carriers, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. The unit offered by AT&T will have a 4.3-inch touchscreen like the 'original', while the variants from Sprint and T-Mobile have a 4.52-inch screen.



All three S II smartphones coming to the US have a Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of built-in storage, a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and a front-facing 2MP camera, and run Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).



T-Mobile didn't say when exactly its S II will become available, while AT&T confirmed a September 18 arrival. Sprint offered the most launch info, including the date - September 16, and the pricing - $199.99 (excluding taxes) with a new two-year service agreement or eligible upgrade. Oh, Sprint's phone will be known as the Epic 4G Touch.
