To offer PC enthusiasts and gamers more choice, Thermaltake has taken the Level 10 GT full-tower chassis and tweaked its visuals by painting most of the outer panels in white (while keeping the interior black). The end result is the Level 10 GT Snow Edition which should come out later this summer.
Like the all-black version, the Level 10 GT Snow Edition measures 584 (H) x 282 (W) x 590 (D) mm, weights 17.7kg, has a modular design, and presents itself with five EasySwap Pitstop removable drive trays, four 5.25-inch bays, the 'Smart-lock Security System' for the side panel, two I/O panels offering 2x USB 3.0, 4 x USB 2.0, 1 x eSATA, 1x HD audio ports, three 200mm Colorshift fans (front, side, top) working at 600 to 800 RPM, and a 140mm (1000 RPM) spinner at the rear.
The 'regular' Level 10 GT costs €219 so this Snow Edition could hover around this price point.

AOC to go all-LED with its monitor line-up as of 2012 :: Posted by THRASHER2

AMD slips out price tag for 8-core FX-Series processor :: Posted by THRASHER2
Their release date may be in September, it may be October, one thing is certain though, the (long) awaited desktop Bulldozers, the FX-Series processors are reaching stores this year and according to AMD, they will cost around (or up to?) $300.
The $300 price tag hasn't been actually announced by AMD but it is mentioned in the official rules of the FX Giveaway contest which includes as prizes five 8-core FX chips and 100 Ruby dolls. It doesn't say what CPU model is actually the prize (it could be the FX-8150P or FX-8100) but the retail value provided still gives us a good idea of how much the upcoming chips will cost - not much when compared to Intel's LGA1366 Core i7 processors and the incoming Sandy Bridge-E chips.
To participate in the FX Giveaway (it's open to legal residents in the US and Canada) see this page and fill in the form.

Toshiba develops fast 24nm e-MMC chips for mobile devices :: Posted by THRASHER2
Utilizing the advanced 24nm process technology, Toshiba has managed to make a new breed of embedded NAND Flash storage solutions that offer both high performance and density for a wide range of devices, from tablets and smartphones, to e-book readers, digital cameras and printers.
Toshiba's 24nm e-MMC devices feature 64Gbit (8GB) toggle-mode double data rate (DDR) NAND Flash memory, they come in a 14 x 18 package, and comply with the JEDEC e-MMC Version 4.41 standard.

Logitech posts $29.6 million loss for June quarter, starts :: Posted by THRASHER2
Logitech's fiscal year 2012 started pretty slow, with the Q1 results showing a revenue of $480 million ($479 million in Q1 FY 2011) and a net loss of $29.6 million (one year ago the company reported a $20 million profit).
In the quarter ended June 30th Logitech achieved a strong growth in Asia, driven primarily by China but in contrast, the performance in the Americas region was weak. According to the company, the net loss reported can be mostly blamed on the decision to drop the price of the Logitech Revue from $249 to $99. This move was supposed to boost the adoption of the Google TV platform.
Due to these not at all stellar Q1 results, Logitech has lowered its sales estimate for the whole fiscal year 2012 from $2.6 billion to about $2.5 billion. And as if this wasn't enough, the company's president and CEO, Gerald P. Quindlen, stepped down from both positions, leaving Logitech to look for a long-term replacement. Chairman Guerrino De Luca (who was Logitech's CEO between 1998 and 2008) assumed the role of acting president and chief executive officer while the Board of Directors searches for new blood.
