Asus working on Tegra 3 Chrome-based tablet
Asus is reportedly very keen on adopting Nvidia's newest ARM-based system-on-chip codename Kal-El (and probably named Tegra 3), and plans to release multiple mobile devices powered by it. If current reports are true, then the first Tegra 3-based product from Asus will be a Q4-bound tablet (probably a 10-inch model) running the upcoming Android Ice Cream Sandwich. A bit later, maybe before 2011 draws to an end, Asus could roll out a Tegra 3 13-inch netbook/notebook also loaded with the Android OS.

Samsung Series 5 to be released in Europe tomorrow
Samsung Electronics has chosen this Friday, June 24th, as the European launch day for its very first Chrome-based netbook, the Series 5. According to the South Korean company, its Chrome OS-loaded netbook will be available in six countries - the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Italy.

First Nokia Windows Phone 7 device coming October 26th
The latest Internet reports speculate that Nokia will unveil their first Windows Phone 7 smartphones on October 26th, months after their deal with Microsoft was made public. If accurate, the launch date should coincide with Microsoft's release of the Mango update for the operating system, which should add some much needed features. October 26th is also the time when Nokia World begins in London, at which the company will unveil the future of its mobile handsets.
