Now This Is A Wearable Computer!
We've seen a lot of "wearable" PC designs over the years but most of them only increased your dork factor and dramatically decreased your chances of ever getting a date (with a girl). On the other hand, this set-up is so bad ass you could even put an iPad in there without looking like a pussy.

Big Brother Wants Black Boxes In Your Car
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration wants black box recorders in all new cars so that law enforcement, insurance carriers and others will have access to the data in case of an accident.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will later this year propose a requirement that all new vehicles contain an event data recorder, known more commonly as a "black box." The device, similar to those found in aircraft, records vehicle inputs and, in the event of a crash, provides a snapshot of the final moments before impact. That snapshot could be viewed by law enforcement, insurance companies and automakers. The device cannot be turned off, and you'll probably know little more about it than the legal disclosure you'll find in the owner's manual.

Thermaltake Level 10 GT Chassis
If you are in the market for a new case, make sure you check out OCIA's Thermaltake Level 10 GT review. If you like the Tt Level 10 but you don't have the budget for it, the Level 10 GT might be for you.
The Thermaltake Level 10 GT is yet another case that I had the opportunity to preview at CES 2011. The Level 10 GT is a follow-up to the original Level 10 that garnered a ton of press from CES 2010. The goal with this new version is to bring the style of the original Level 10 case to a much more reasonable price point. The original had an asking price around $800 - more than some users spend on an entire system!

The Slow, Strange Death Of The Demo
There is an interesting editorial on the The Slow, Strange Death Of The Demo posted at RPS that is definitely worth checking out. I remember a day when a demo almost always came out before the game...now it's all just trailers...and most of those aren't of in-game footage.
I miss demos. I miss them so much. I wouldn't be here, writing these words, if it weren't for demos: how else could a sport-fearing, skinny young misery with only the slightest pittance for pocketmoney have found his way into playing video games? Once, my bedroom was littered with floppy discs, each and every one of which had at some point led to me standing outside a game shop, counting pennies with a quivering hand, praying I had enough.
