Cooler Master releases HAF 932 Advanced chassis
Cooler Master has introduced an updated Advanced version of its HAF 932 full-tower case which includes two main changes, it has a a rugged black coated interior (as opposed to the plain grey of the original HAF 932) and includes USB 3.0 connectivity. The HAF 932 Advanced has the same front I/O panel as the original case - USB 2.0 x 4, IEEE 1394a x 1, eSATA x 1, Mic x 1, Audio x 1 ports, so the two USB 3.0 connectors available come on a front panel that will take up one of the six 5.25-inch bays.

GeForce GT 530 specs leaked
Hong Kong-based add-in board maker AFOX (most likely) accidentally posted information on a yet unannounced product, the GeForce GT 530 graphics card. Set to be placed under the GTX 550 Ti and maybe priced around $100, the GeForce GT 530 features a GPU clock of 750 MHz, an unknown number of CUDA Cores set at 1500 MHz, a 128-bit memory interface, 1GB or 2GB of DDR3 memory at 1333 MHz, is equipped with a reasonably-large, single-fan cooler, lacks SLI support, and provides three display output options - D-Sub, DVI and HDMI.

Ubuntu 11.04 enters beta stage
Following three public alpha releases, the next version of the Linux-based Ubuntu operating system has reached the beta phase. If you wish, you can now download and test out the Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal beta 1, as well as all its siblings based on different desktop environments (Kubuntu, Xubuntu, etc).

Samsung Galaxy S Plus has 1.4 GHz processor
Samsung has already announced a successor for the Galaxy S named the S II, but it is also preparing the launch of an updated version of its popular smartphone. The refreshed model is known as Galaxy S Plus (i9001) and it runs Android 2.3 enhanced with the TouchWiz 3.0 UI.

Samsung begins transparent LCD panel production
Samsung Electronics has announced that it began mass production of 22-inch transparent LCD panels. The panels have a contrast ratio of 500:1 with 1680x1050 resolution. Instead of LCD units that use backlight units (BLUs) and have five per cent transparency, Samsung said its transparent LCD panel boasts a transparency rate of over 20 per cent for the black-and-white type and over 15 per cent for the colour type.

IE9 gets 3.6% of Windows web share
Internet Explorer 9's launch was enough to see it carve out a significant piece of the Windows web in its first two weeks. New data from NetApplications for March showed IE9 getting 3.56 percent of Microsoft's web traffic. While small, it was enough to outpace Firefox 4's 2.8 percent. However, Internet Explorer as a whole had dropped. Combined, it dropped almost all of a point to 55.92 percent, a new low. Firefox was nearly flat at 21.8 percent, but both Google Chrome and Apple Safari made significant strides, reaching new highs of 11.57 percent and 6.61 percent each.

Google and ARM plan to standardize Android platform
Google is looking to standardize its Android 3.0 mobile operating system and may also be looking to standardize Android with the ARM architecture products available in many smartphones and tablets. By standardizing Android 3.0 Honeycomb , Google will be looking to eliminate most of the drawbacks of the OS, including a buggy user interface and lack of native apps.

RIM BlackBerry Monza smartphone pictured
RIM is moving ahead with its 2011 release plans which include sort of a successor of the BlackBerry Storm 2, a model known as Monaco or Monza which has now got its own, unofficial photo shoot. The incoming device, which is expected to lack the Storm moniker (it could end up being called BlackBerry Touch), runs BlackBerry OS 6.1 and will require users to log in with a BlackBerry ID and not a PIN. This method would help multiple individuals use the same phone without actually having access to each others private data.
