LucidLogix Virtu to be bundled with H67 and Z68 boards
LucidLogix has scored an important win by convincing Intel to pair up some of its H67 and Z68-based motherboards with the Virtu GPU virtualization software, so as to enable customers to take advantage of laptop-like GPU switching on a desktop computer. Lucid's Virtu solution can automatically switch between the integrated GPU in Intel's Sandy Bridge processors and an installed Nvidia or AMD discrete graphics cards, so as to balance the load and power consumption of a system. The discrete card will be used only when intense 3D horsepower is needed, while the rest of the time it will be put into a low-power state, leaving the graphics works to the integrated GPU.

MSI Brazos-based Wind Top AE2050 launched in Europe
One week after making its North American debut, MSI's Wind Top AE2050 all-in-one PC, which is powered by AMD's Brazos platform, has been introduced in Europe too, with actual availability on the Old Continent likely set for next week. The reasonably sleek AE2050 features a 20-inch 1600x900 multi-touch display, a 1.6 GHz E-350 APU with Radeon HD 6310 integrated DirectX 11-compatible graphics, 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB 7200 RPM hard drive, and a DVD writer.

NVIDIA enables SLI for AMD 990 chipsets
For a long time AMD enthusiasts had to resort to unofficial patches to make SLI work on their boards, but not anymore! NVIDIA has finally agreed to make their SLI technology available for AMD 9-series chipsets boards supporting the Zambezi processors based on Bulldozer architecture.
