first with the launch of the HD68-series Barts-cards, but since then Nvidia has

KFA2 GeForce GTX 560 EX OC 1024MB @ PCSTATS
The Tank series features 3 different designs, we will be taking a look at
the biggest of the 3 today - HPTX Tank. As with all the cases in this
series, the HPTX Tank is fully aluminium. It is wide, allowing up to 190mm
tall CPU coolers to be installed and can house XL-ATX motherboards such as
GIGABYTE's G1 Assassin and EVGA's SR-2. Being able to house such big
hardware also means long graphics cards can also be installed within the
HPTX Tank, in fact up to 340mm of clearance is available! With lots of
cooling, lots of space and lots of features I'm expecting some good results
from this case, Lian Li ought to be very afraid.

Subpixel Reconstruction Antialiasing (SRAA) @ PCSTATS
While we are not entirely convinced that the GeForce GTX 550 Ti is a worthy contender at $149 US, Gigabyte certainly has done a lot to improve its value. When compared to the Radeon HD 6850 which was consistently much faster, the GeForce GTX 550 Ti costs just 15% less despite being around 30% slower most of the time.

IN WIN BUC Mid-Tower Case Review @ PCSTATS
"Subpixel Reconstruction Antialiasing (SRAA) combines singlepixel (1x) shading with subpixel visibility to create antialiased images without increasing the shading cost. SRAA targets deferred shading renderers, which cannot use multisample antialiasing.
SRAA operates as a post-process on a rendered image with super-resolution depth and normal buffers, so it can be incorporated into an existing renderer without modifying the shaders. In this way SRAA resembles Morphological Antialiasing (MLAA), but the new algorithm can better respect geometric boundaries and has fixed runtime independent of scene and image complexity."

ASUS Sabertooth P67 Motherboard Review @ PCSTATS
That case would be the IN WIN BUC. IN WIN's concept for the BUC is "strong shield". They get this idea from its black SECC steel build and hard looking design. The BUC comes with many nice and innovative features for any builder. For cooling, the BUC comes with three 12cm fans. One on the front, top, and rear of the case. There are three 5.25" and one 3.5" drive bays. For internal storage, the BUC can hold five drives of either 3.5" or 2.5" with their device converter cage. The cage also holds four Hot-Swap modules, negating the need for extra SATA cables and conserving room."

The Radeon HD 6790 1GB @ PCSTATS
ASUS has sent us their version of the Radeon HD 6950 to run through the paces today. The ASUS HD 6950 2GB is factory overclocked right out of the box by 10MHz, which really is not anything to write home about, but it’s there nonetheless. ASUS does include their voltage tweak software to help gain a better overclock, which we aim to attempt as we have in all of our reviews. The ASUS HD 6950 is also fitted with a non-reference, full aluminum cover to help dissipate heat better. The HD 6950 comes with a dual BIOS option from the factory, allowing users to use a BIOS from another manufacturer if they wanted, or just have an overclocked BIOS and an ASUS stock factory BIOS. But enough with the niceties, let’s get on to the real reason everyone is here – testing!

what does is how much gaming power you can get for your hard-earned

its GTX 500-series than it had before and leaves AMD as our favorite

Sapphire Edge-HD Mini PC @ PCSTATS
NVIDIA nicely summed up this year’s first quarter with GTX
550, which seemed like a great competitor against Radeon HD 5770.
Everything would have been perfect for the Americans if AMD hadn’t
already planned the counterattack for the very beginning of the second
quarter, or to be precise, 5th April. The new Radeon is named HD 6790
and is somewhat of a modification, or a weakened version of, Radeons HD
6850/6870, based on the Barts GPU. As such, this model is based on the
VLIW5 architecture, which is somewhat old and doesn’t belong to the
truly high-class Radeons; all chips from the Cayman family are based on
VLIW4 (Very Long Instruction Word). Besides, the Barts chip located in
HD 6970 has been weakened in order to replace the already obsolete HD
5770...

Thermaltake Level 10 GT, Chaser MK-1, Frio OCK @ PCSTATS
Some may remember Nvidia first using "Ti" on the GeForce 2 cards until its
demise on their 4th generations of graphics cards. Representing Titanium,
the cards boasting the moniker were renowned to be popular, hence Nvidia
bringing the name back. The GTX560 is set to succeed the GTX460 but not
replace it based on their differing price points. At $249/£200, it is meant
to fit in between AMD's HD6870 and HD6950. Another benefit of the GTX560
over the GTX460 is the lack of confusion regarding its memory framebuffer at
a set 1GB and more importantly, its clock speeds are 822MHz on the core and
4000MHz on the memory, a welcomed boost to consumers. Another impressive
feat has been Nvidia's ability to fit the card's improved performance in a
similar power envelope as the GTX460. Its TDP is a mere 10W higher than the
latter, highlighting the GTX560's efficiency. This particular card by Inno3D
has been overclocked to its limit out of the box, testament to the brand's
confidence in the card. Set at 950/4300MHz, it is one of the highest clocked
GTX560s on the market and Inno3D have stuck to the reference cooler for its
purposes.
