Kingston Genesis 4GB DDR3 2133MHz Review @ PCSTATS
"When I first got an opportunity to look at an example of Thermaltake's V9 series, I was less than impressed. This new BlacX entry has some nicely executed features and displays very good cooling numbers. However, the interior design is definitely getting long in the tooth and, frankly wasn't that good to start with. The chassis itself is thin and flimsy, cable management is virtually non-existent and the expansion card tool-free clips are, in word, horrible." ... [THERMALTAKE] via PCSTATS

Kingston V100 SSD Firmware Update @ PCSTATS
The highly anticipated first-person shooter Bulletstorm is finally here. It was released on February 22, 2011 in the US and on the February 24 and 25, 2011 in AU and UK respectively. Bulletstorm's development first started back in June 2007 with Epic Games and People Can Fly. Its incorporated skillshot gameplay system rewards players for being as creative and destructive as possible in their mayhem. Examples include killing enemies in midair, pushing enemies into man-eating plants, cactuses, walls and electricity, or executing enemies after violently transplanting bullets into their testicles. Games like the Serious Sam series and Gears of War closely resemble Bulletstorm in their penchant for violence and abundance of monsters and creatures. Players that enjoyed those games are more than likely to enjoy Bulletstorm, because it can be seen as a combination of the two, with more human-like realism in first-person shooter mode. Bulletstorm is a crazy and creative action game, allowing the user to have lots of fun slaughtering enemies and gaining combo points that will provide the options to upgrade weapons. ... Amd Phenom 2 X4 840 Cpu @ PCSTATS
"The Crucial m4 needs little introduction since it is one of the two most anticipated SSDs of 2011. The truth is that most of you are planning on skipping the next handful of pages to get right to the benchmarks. Don't do that! Take everything you've already read about the Micron C400 / Crucial m4 and toss it out of your mind, because mumble - mumble - mumble isn't exactly accurate. Let me explain with swollen tongue. The latest version of the 88SS9174 controller is the BLD2 and that is what Crucial has employed for the new m4. We've had just two days to try and unravel the new 88SS9174-BLD2 with a single example of this controller. Our sample drive is not a retail product and comes in the form of an OEM style Micron C400 with a Crucial label attached. The M400 is the exact same hardware, programming and firmware as the Crucial m4 and our testing has indicated that this will be the first retail m4 drive that will hit the market in April." ... Gskill RipjawsX 4GB 17000 CL9D-4GBXMD Review @ PCSTATS
What is the first thing that comes to mind when I mention the words 'cake' and 'cheese'? Cheese that is melted on top of a cake? A cake made out of cheese? Or should I simply refer to it as a cheesecake? Recently, I have been invited to a wedding, and the first thing that comes to my mind is the bride and groom cutting their wedding cake. Now obviously weddings and cheesecakes have nothing to do with a power supply we are reviewing today -- but before you click the little 'X' next to your browser's tab, let me ask you this question first before moving on further in this review: Would you buy an ugly looking cheesecake to munch down on, or an ugly wedding cake for that special someone? Probably not, and I believe nine out of ten people would agree also. In the world of computers, PC enthusiasts will go pretty far in obtaining hardware to make their system look pretty, and I have to admit that I am one of them. Not too long ago, I was browsing the internet in search of some new hardware for my system, and it so happens that I have stumbled across a good looking power supply, in which I am going to report on today. This is no other than the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W. At first glance, it has a simple, yet unique strip of red on a dark matte body. As well, a Ferrari/Lamborghini inspired logo is stamped onto the honeycomb mesh in front of the fan. Without further thought, I told myself this was one power supply is a must-have for looks. But how well does its outer appearance reflect its internal quality? Being an 80 Plus Gold certified power supply, I am quite confident that Thermaltake has produced a quality cheesecake... I mean, a power supply. Keep reading to see what we have found! ... [THERMALTAKE] via PCSTATS

Antec Six Hundred V2 Mid Gaming Case @ PCSTATS
Gskill introduced their magical Flare ram kit at the same time as the release of AMD's Hexacore Thuban CPU. By using PSC ICs, better known as powerchips, achieving new ram speed heights on the AMD 890 platform. On the AMD front it has been quite calm lately, though Intel launched their new "ahum" mainstream Sandy Bridge CPU early this year. With a bucketload of available brand new ram dividers on the P67 motherboards, you can squeeze every drop of performance out this platform. When exploring the Sandy architecture we noticed a sweetspot of price/performance around the 1600mhz ram speed mark. Though for the enthousiasts every Mhz counts. Today we test the brand new 4gb 2133Mhz CL9 kit. Quite an interesting kit as it's not the high end CL 7 kit, and thus less pricey. Though could we achieve similar speeds ? ... ASUS GTX 550 Ti DirectCU TOP video card @ PCSTATS
Today we get to take a detailed look at another new case of Antec's, one that is based around a great selling previous model, which this one will no doubt continue that success. The previous model we are talking about is the original Six Hundred case, a winner due mostly to its unique top panel and aggressive front bezel, a style that was something many of us have never seen in a gaming case before. But now, Antec figures that they could improve on that uniqueness even more by re-releasing the case under the Six Hundred V2 badge, and kicking in some nice features as well; typically found on their higher end models. ... Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Ultraportable Notebook Review @ PCSTATS
The ASUS GTX 550 Ti DirectCU TOP has moved away from the NVIDIA reference design chosen by some manufacturers. The first change was the mini-HDMI connector, replaced by a full-sized HDMI, and the addition of a VGA connection, replacing the second DVI connector seen in reference design cards. As with the GTS 450 and GTX 460 it features bitstreaming support for both Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio, handy for home theatre PC use. ... [OVERCLOCKERS] via PCSTATS

ASRock P67 Pro3 @ PCSTATS
Living up to its reputation, I've generally been pleased with Lenovo's overall build quality and performance. The recently reviewed IdeaPad U260 was a real work of art and excelled in nearly every category except for one -- it narrowly missed Intel's Sandy Bridge processor refresh which would have offered even better all-around CPU and GPU performance. Today we'll be looking at our first notebook based on Intel's second generation Core processors, the ThinkPad X220. The X220 was just introduced this month and represents Lenovo's latest ultraportable ThinkPad. Feature highlights include a 12.5" 1366x768 IPS display, a solidly built thin frame and starting weight of 3 pounds, all without sacrificing on performance courtesy of Intel's new mobile processors. The ThinkPad X series refresh is available in various configurations, from the Core i3-2310M all the way up to the high-end i7-2620M (the series fastest dual-core mobile processor). ... RAZER Anansi Expert MMO Gaming Keyboard Review @ PCSTATS
"When it comes to Intel's Sandy Bridge, lately we have been looking a lot at the Linux graphics performance with the H67 chipset as it has been an interesting journey but now at least the OpenGL performance is good and VA-API video acceleration is working. Now that the B3-stepping Cougar Point motherboards are beginning to ship that address the original SATA issues for this chipset that led to a recall, we are back to looking at this magical CPU, the supported motherboards, and its overall Linux performance. In this review we are taking a Linux look at the ASRock P67 Pro3." ... [PHORONIX] via PCSTATS
