AMD Radeon HD 6990 4GB @ PCSTATS
The product weآ’ll be featuring here today, the AMD Radeon HD 6990, should come as no surprise to anyone that even remotely stays on top of the PC graphics scene. News of the Radeon HD 6990آ’s arrival has been circulating for many months now, although back in the early days it was referred to by its codenameآ—Antilles. Antilles was the codename given to the dual-Cayman GPU powered graphics card that would eventually top AMDآ’s graphics card line-up and supplant the Radeon HD 5970 thatآ’s served the company so well, since its release way back in November of آ’09. While news of Antilles development wasnآ’t really news at all, considering AMDآ’s GPU design philosophy these past few years with the likes of the previous generation Radeon 4870 X2 and Radeon HD 5970, the actual final specifications of the Radeon HD 6990 were unclear for quite some time. But weآ’ve got the full scoop for you today... ... [HOTHARDWARE] via PCSTATS

This is obviously an enthusiast-oriented product but can it deliver in some of the most demanding situations? ... [HARDWARECANUCKS] via PCSTATS

XPAND X103 Universal 3D Glasses Review @ PCSTATS
"The potential is there, but we just havenآ’t seen enough of it yet. The idea is compelling, but the current implementations are still behind the curve when being compared to native Crossfire or SLI products. It is a good start, but I would argue that the technology is still a bit immature. This hopefully will change. I cannot reiterate enough that the potential for this technology is outstanding, but delivering upon that promise is going to be a challenge." ... [PCPER] via PCSTATS

Enermax Hoplite Mid Tower Case Review @ PCSTATS
This wouldnآ’t be so bad if the glasses were inexpensive, but with glasses costing over $100 each, not too many consumers are going to be stockpiling glasses for a rare group viewing. Furthermore, those 3D glasses might be worthless if a 2nd 3D display or replacement 3D display is purchased from another manufacturer. This is where XPAND steps in and attempts to alleviate the problem with their line of universal 3D glasses. Today, weآ’ll be taking a look at the XPAND X103 universal 3D glasses. ... ZALMAN Z9 Mid Tower PC Case @ PCSTATS
Last week we showed you the new Kingston SSDNow V+100 that uses a new Toshiba controller and offers good mainstream performance, but the current price is quite a bit higher than what we wanted to see. Today we're looking at the new Kingston SSDNow V100 with a Toshiba labeled controller designed in cooperation with JMicron. The V100 is Kingston's new budget series that is designed to meet the needs of mainstream users. Last year we showed the Kingston SSDNow V Series and the new V100 is the updated replacement model. The new V100 is more of an evolutionary upgrade since it uses the same 64MB cache capacity, but the flash has been upgraded to 32nm (shrunk from 43nm). Both the V and V100 are controlled by a controller based on the JM618, so the main changes rest in the NAND flash and firmware." ... [TWEAKTOWN] via PCSTATS
