Weekend Tweaking - Tips and Beginners Guides to Make your PC Run Faster! @ PCSTATS
One of the unfortunate consequences of AMD's inability to match Intel's performance at the ultra high-end of the CPU market over the past few years is that there's been a substantial decline in the number of high-end AMD motherboards. NewEgg presently stocks just two AMD motherboards in the $200-$300 price range compared to 36 Intel products. That's not to imply that you have to pay $200 or more for a quality motherboard but it clearly implies that when motherboard manufacturers are thinking about enthusiasts, they're also thinking about Santa Clara. With one exception. Both of the $200+ AMD boards are built by Asus and the company recently sent us its top-end AMD offering. The motherboard's retail price point of $299 dwarfs anything else anyone offers in an AMD flavor these days, but Asus has packed the Crosshair IV Extreme with every goody you can think of... ... Mionix Propus 380 Review @ PCSTATS
آ“Epsonآ’s BX625FWD is an excellent inkjet MFP for small-business users. Its build quality is above par, print and scan quality are superb, and operating noise is kept to a minimum. The unit looks great, is well supported, and the drivers (Windows and OS X) and bundled proactivity apps are intuitive. The inclusion of memory card slots and a PictBridge port increase its versatility and the choice of wired and wireless connectivity is ideal for hot-deskers. The only consideration is running costs. If youآ’re a very busy office that primarily prints documents for internal purposes, a laser printer is more cost effective over the long term. Small teams or those in home offices who print less frequently will benefit most from the BX625FWD.آ” ... [BUSINESSCOMPUTINGWORLD] via PCSTATS

LITE-ON eNAU608 External Slim USB DVD/CD Writer @ PCSTATS
When you think of the ultimate gaming computer, I don't think a mousepad is what that first comes to mind. Nonetheless, mousepads are an essential part of any computer system. Sure, you can easily go without one, but depending on the surface you use, it could cause your mouse to perform poorly. If you use your mouse on a hard computer desk, a mousepad can certainly make it a lot more comfortable. That is not to mention without a reliable mousepad, you may sometimes find your cursor going in a direction you didn't tell it to go. Now I'm not saying a mousepad is going to give you more headshots or increase your APM (Some people might disagree), it certainly could help you along the way. Mousepads come in all shapes, sizes and materials, so how do you know a good one from a bad one? Well, a cheap rubber pad with a hard plastic surface might do the job for some, but for the rest of us, we would want something more accurate and reliable. You are probably also looking for something smooth and makes sure your cursor never disobeys. Nothing is more frustrating than when you move the mouse and nothing happens. Fortunately, what we have here at APH Networks this morning is Mionix's Propus 380 gaming surface. While this isn't the only gaming surface out there, if you are looking for a nice metallic black mousepad, right off the bat I would assert this is a great pick. It offers the high quality surface you would expect from a good gaming mousepad -آ– the only bad news is, the Propus 380 won't help you pay your bills at the end of the month, unless, of course, you are a graphics designer. How well did this work out in real life? We took one in to analyze, so read on to find out what we have found in our review today. ... [APHNETWORKS] via PCSTATS
