A Look at AMD's Catalyst 11.4 Driver @ PCSTATS
And yet, just when you think you have that new rig right where you want with drive performance, OCZ ups the ante once more; enter RevoDrive, stage left. The RevoDrive is one of the more recent additions to OCZ's SSD arsenal, but the RevoDrive is not your typical SSD. What makes it different is that they have dropped the SATA connector and 2.5" enclosure, in favor of utilizing PCIe slot and an open-board design. A little unusual? Perhaps, but the performance numbers will no doubt remove any ill conceived notions you may have. ... [PRO-CLOCKERS] via PCSTATS

Asus RT-N56U Gigabit Router Review @ PCSTATS
"Let's dive into GIGABYTE's P67A-UD4. This is the "little brother" to the UD7 that we have already told you about. The P67A-UD4 is sort of a scaled back version of the UD7. You get dual x8 SLI and Crossfire and lose a few other features on top of that. Of course, it is not marketed to the same high-end crowd as the UD7, so it does not need the same feature set. But even without Three-Way SLI the UD4 is still a member of the Ultra Durable line and has a great feature set of its own. Like its big brother, the UD7, the P67A-UD4 is a nice looking board. GIGABYTE has made a good move (in my opinion) with the new black PCB and stylized cooling. The layout is also very clean with good component and peripheral spacing. As there is no NF200 on the board, the cooling is broken into two parts; the voltage regulators and the Cougar Point MCP that everyone is talking so much about." ... [TWEAKTOWN] via PCSTATS

AMD Phenom II X4 975 & 840 @ PCSTATS
The first motherboard we will take a look at is the P8P67 Pro, which will be ASUSآ’ performance motherboard for users on a budget, or in other words a top-shelf mainstream board. In the lineup it falls just under the Deluxe but above the EVO. The P8P67 Pro holds a few similarities to the P7P55 Deluxe we reviewed here, looks is the only thing they have in common. The new board sports a new chipset for Intel's also new Sandy Bridge processor: the P67 North Bridge. So, what does that mean for the consumer? Well, the PCIe 2.0 is increased from 2.5GT/s to 5GT/s, meaning the USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s connections will not hog up a lot of bandwidth as there is more to share. That is just the tip of the iceberg though, read on to find out more as we review this brand new ASUS motherboard utilizing Intel's brand new chipset and Core i5 2500K CPU! ... [CLOCKERS] via PCSTATS

Taiwan motherboard makers not affected by Nippon Chem-Con production stoppage @ PCSTATS
"When it came to overclocking, the X4 840 has a locked multiplier and did not offer much in the way of overclocking, with only a 400MHz burst. That being said, for the price, they are hard to beat. The X4 975, on the other hand, is an overclocking beast, making it to 4.32GHz with ease thanks to the unlocked multiplier and a bit of tweaking. At 4.3GHz and a price tag under $200, this chip is also hard to be beat - the scores were excellent and the chip never faltered." ... [OVERCLOCKERSCLUB] via PCSTATS

HotHardware's Killer 3D Gaming Rig Spring Fling Sweepstakes @ PCSTATS
"I am glad to see AMD really embracing the overclocking mindset in both its CPU and GPU divisions as well. AMD has been offering unlocked processors for quite some time and with previous Radeon releases and now the new HD 6990 offering, the engineering and marketing teams continue to strive to beat out the competition in anyway they can. By installing a switch on the card that now basically overclocks the clock speeds and moves the power consumption beyond approved levels, AMD is enabling consumers that WANT to push their hardware the option to do so, and for that, we at PC Perspective are very grateful." ... MSI 890FXA-GD65 Socket AM3 Motherboard @ PCSTATS
If you had a billion dollars to put in a bank, would you trust a Swede, or a German? If you wanted to invest in a new automobile, would you lean towards a Japanese vehicle, or a Korean made car? Haven't caught on yet? I'll give you one more example, this time a little more obvious. If you were to purchase a bottle of drinking water, would you rather have Canadian H2O, or Iranian water? First of all, I'd like to make it clear in stating that I am not a racist; nor does the point I'm going to make have anything to do with a certain race. Instead, I'm merely stating an observation that as consumers, we have created world-wide-product-stereotypes on what certain countries can and can't do آ–- or to be less harsh, what countries are good at, and what they aren't. Of course, these few 'cans' could very well be the pride of a nation. The flip side, however, is a little bit more humorous when this country tries another 'thing', and simply put, fails miserably, haha. South Korea also falls into this category. Undoubtedly Korea has its international successes (I.e., music industry, at least in my opinion; oh and who can forget their amazing potatoes), but also has their not so proud moments (Ever seen a true car enthusiast complement a Kia or Hyundai with a genuinely straight face?). What the world doesn't see as much though آ–- aside from us techni-fatics -- is the rise of electronics seen by Korean companies. Aside from highly respectable companies such as LG and Samsung, what about Zalman? Getting my hands on a unit made by a relatively smaller company competing against the big boys like Thermaltake and Cooler Master definitely gets the blood pumping. So, with my cultural-product-stereotype rant done, my sleeves rolled up, and my new unit beside me, let's get on with review! But wait, I haven't even introduced you to this sleek and innovative product. Today, I will introduce you to the Zalman ZM-VE200. On the surface, this seems like just another HDD enclosure, but it definitely has something up it's sleeve to impress the unimpressed... or does it? Unfortunately Fortunately you'll have to read the rest of this review to find out! ... [APHNETWORKS] via PCSTATS

OCZ RevoDrive X2 100GB PCI Express Hard Drive @ PCSTATS
NVIDIA sprung a leak again. Actually, it's a multitude of leaks on the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 dual-GPU graphics card. Of course, this is all just for the bragging rights. Apple iPad 2 Tablet Review @ PCSTATS
"Just as with the original RevoDrive, the X2 version lives up to its reputation and delivers a massive boost of speed as a unique PCI Express hard drive platform. While the drive did have some issues with small file sizes, the overall transfer speeds were on par with the specifications that OCZ has designed the drive around. Some of the tests were almost dead on with the 700MB/s+ speeds, which are amazing for a single device setup. The ability to use the PCI Express BUS for transfers gives the RevoDrive X2 the edge. Installation was extremely simple آ— just install the drive, set the mode to AHCI and select the RevoDrive X2 as your boot device and away you go. Installing Windows 7 Professional 64-bit was a breeze with the high speeds of the drive, as were the startup and shutdown times, beating all other SSDs and mechanical drives I have ever tested." ... PNY GTX 560 Ti OC2 @ PCSTATS
The magic is back for a second act, baby, and it doesn't play for the Lakers (that's the other Magic). The magic we're talking about plays for team Apple, and while the competition tries to come up with a so-called "iPad killer," Apple may have beat them to the punch. How's that for irony? We're of course referring to the iPad 2, Apple's second tablet in as many years, and the first successor to the slate that started it all. Don't confuse that to mean Apple invented the tablet, which it didn't, but the Cupertino outfit was the first to figure out how to market and sell such a device to the mainstream, almost single-handedly reviving a mobile concept that many didn't think could co-exist with laptops and netbooks... ...
