CeBIT 2011: ASUS 3D wi-fi gizmos & all-in-one PCs
As always, ASUS being one of the biggest IT companies got one of the biggest booths, and they showed us a lot of new stuff. The focus is made toward couple of new things. Wavi Xtion is something very similar to Kinect, and it is made out of two components: Wavi (wireless transmitter) and Xtion (sensor). It requires a PC and you can connect it to your TV trough USB with Xtion and HDMI with up to 1080p resolution between TV and Wavi. The sensor pick up your gestures like Kinect and in that way you can controll your caracter or manipulate with your data on PC. The best part is that you can use it without console and just with your PC.

CeBIT 2011: PoV Tegra 2 tablet for less than 350 euros
On Point of View's booth we have seen some interesting products, and the most interesting stuff were the Tegra 2 tablet and water-cooled NVIDIA GTX 580 graphics card. There were several models exposed, but the 10-inch version took the most of our attention, because it's based on NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform. It also has Android 2.2 preinstalled, and the hardware specification is most impressive.

CeBIT 2011: OCZ's U turn
After the big surprise regarding the memory business, OCZ got their focus high on SSD portion and they mean business. The Vertex 3 SATA III SSD family is new lineup of products that really utilizes SATA 6 Gbps interface. These SSDs uses new SandForce SF-2200 SSD controller that allows speed well over 500 MB/s for read/write, and transfer rates up to 60K IOPS. As far as the enterprize/OEM concern, there are some new high speed solutions, and when we say high speed we mean like 1.6 and 1.8 GB/s with 200.000 IOPS 4K for the Z series with PCI Express interface, with capacities up to 2.4 TB.

CeBIT 2011: Sapphireآ’s way
Yeah, we’ve all heard about Sapphire motherboards and the few of us saw how they look like, and the reason is the quantities which they’ve produced their boards. Now they presented us with new boards they were preparing, and we must admit they got a great team of engeneers. The AMD Brazos-based small board is equiped with E-350 chipset and it's called Pure Fusion mini E350. This is like a deluxe version with a lot of SATA ports, BT, USB 3.0, eSATA, PCI Express x16, S/PDIF, and slots you can see with notebooks – expansion slots and SO-DIMM. The price for this baby is going around 130€, and the best part is that there will be a little bit less equipped version with full size DIMMs and no USB 3.0, eSATA and stuff with a below 100€ price tag.

CeBIT 2011: Fatal1ty promotes ASRock
ASRock was for some time well known for their motherboards, often with innovative and interesting design. But now, it looks like that they want to enter end user business in more competitive way, as they introduced several atractive motherboards. They are using Fatal1ty brand to promote their highest end board, and as you can expect, it is made for second generation Core processors using P67 chipset and named Fatal1ty P67 Professional. As you can see on the picture, both motherboard and the package are well designed and painted very stylish. All the components used are of the highest quality, enabling it to host up to 32GB DDR3 memory, with O/C speed up to 2133 MHz. For this board it's not a problem to host up to 4 VGA cards, be it NVIDIA or AMD.

CeBIT 2011: Cooler Master day two
The mobile era is already kicking in and Cooler Master is following it very well with their products. Behind the scene we saw a new U stand for notebooks up to 17 with two movable fans, and Cooling Pad with Speaker on which you can dock laptops from 9 to 17 in size and use it as an audio system in 2.0 or 2.1 configuration. Out in the open we saw the new NotePal L1 which has a smart height ajdustable solution with two additional knobs that you can set to gain extra height. There is also new Infinite Evo that has a opening in the center which allows heat to be disipated to the rear sides. And for those who like mobile solutions, you can search for foldable NotePal P2 as a interesting way to cool your notebook.
