Crysis 2 DirectX 11 Patch Debunked
Crytek has debunked the DX11 patch rumor, once again dashing the hopes of PC gamers around the world. No patch was ever confirmed, I have no idea why this website even posted such information. This thread is locked just the same as the others for trying to spread inaccurate information. When there are any big announcements regarding Crysis 2 they will be posted on MyCrysis, if you read something about a patch for example, but don't see it on MyCrysis.com, then it isn't genuine. Does anyone else find it rather odd that Crytek is dumbfounded by the fact that PC gamers actually thought there could be a DX11 patch today? I think that says a lot, don't you? Comments

File Sharing Doesn't Deter Artists From Making Music
A new report says that file sharing does NOT deter artists from making music. That being said, if you do continue to use P2 for your *cough*Linux distros *cough*, remember to support your favorite artist by buying their music if you like it. Further proof that the recording industry's oft-repeated claims of the downfall of the entire music industry hold no water: a new report finding that filesharing has led directly to "reduced costs of bringing works to market and a growing role of independent labels." In other words, in the past decade, we have seen more music from independent outlets and at lower prices آ– something that consumers and music fans should all be happy about. Comments

NASA Computer Servers Vulnerable to Attack
NASA's inspector general says that computer servers used by the space agency are vulnerable to attack. What's with all these high-profile vulnerabilities today? You'd think a bunch of rocket scientist would have their stuff buttoned up a little better than that.
