Deepcool Ice Matrix 400 Review @ PCSTATS
AMD has provided further details on the Bulldozer architecture at the ISSCC 2011 conference. These include an overall view of each module and some of the physical characteristics, a redesign of the schedulers and integer execution units, and a comprehensive look at power saving features that allow the Bulldozer core to exist in moderate power and TDP ranges. We cover the highlights of the submitted papers and make some guesses at what the final product will look like. "All indications so far point to Bulldozer being at the very least a competitive design. I believe that Intel will have an advantage in instructions per clock when handling single threaded and lightly threaded workloads. But AMD certainly looks to counter that by providing processors which will clock higher than the Intel counterparts, yet still remain in the same thermal envelope as the competition."... AMD Phenom II X4 975BE and 840 CPU Reviews @ PCSTATS
"Asustek Computer, Gigabyte Technology, Micro-Star International (MSI), Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) and ASRock have all received small-volume shipments of fixed 6-series chipsets from Intel and will begin delivery of new P67, H67 and H61-based motherboards soon. Shipments of 6-series-based motherboards will resume to 50% of their normal volumes by mid-March and reach full shipments by mid-April, according to industry sources.
Asustek, Gigabyte and MSI have all announced measures, including replacement of motherboards, to solve related problems caused by the defective chips.
ASRock said that it will extend the guarantee period from the current three, to four years for clients who carry out a replacement before June 30, 2011. New motherboards with fixed chipsets will be labeled with "B3" on their packaging and also on the motherboards."... [DIGITIMES] via PCSTATS

MUKii TransImp USB 3.0 Hub @ PCSTATS
"AMD has just released their latest quad-core speed-bump in order to give consumers the option for a little more bang and a little more buck. With the release of the AMD Phenom II X4 975 'Black Edition' processor, AMD has added a new king to their Phenom II X4 quad-core product line. The previous leader in this category was the Phenom II X4 970 at 3.5GHz and 125W TDP. The 975 adds 100MHz for a total of 3.6GHz. This clock speed not only marks the highest quad core, but the highest base factory clock chip in all of AMD's desktop processor lines. With a price-point of $195, AMD also maintains their sub-$200 barrier in their quad-core processors..." ... [LEGITREVIEWS] via PCSTATS

AMD Phenom II X4 975 BE and Phenom II X4 840 (Socket AM3) CPUs @ PCSTATS
"To think of a NAS server as a business only product these days is ignorant. With everything digital now playing a larger role in our lives, most families can easily benefit from a full on NAS server. Connectivity is the key and you simply can't get this level of connectivity from a home server without a large amount of time consuming customization. Tine also plays a role in our digital lives; no one has enough of it and when something is in low supply a dollar figure can be assigned to it. As the supply dwindles the figure is increased. These days I would pay for time, even if charged by the minute. My personal NAS server saves me time and thus is an investment that can be recovered. I hope you are in a position to consider your time valuable as well. Today we are looking at the latest generation NAS server from QNAP. The new TS-659 Pro+ ships standard with many hardware improvements over the non-plus models. The first is a new Intel dual core Atom processor and memory configuration. Let's dive right into the hardware specs and I will get you up to speed."... [TWEAKTOWN] via PCSTATS

Gainward GeForce GTX 570 1280MB @ PCSTATS
"There really is nothing "new" to talk about here. Well ok - there is the fact that both of these got a slight speed increase over what is currently available in their lines. The 975 BE gets pushed to 3.6GHz while the 840 gets a bump to 3.2. Overall, not a bad increase, but we do want to see if this is all marketing or if it really means better performance for the consumer. Overclocking the Phenom II X4 975 BE was not all that hard. We simply tweaked the multiplier and also adjusted the core frequency a little bit (along with a small voltage bump) and we were off. The problem comes from the relatively low overclocks we are still getting."... [TWEAKTOWN] via PCSTATS
