Customize the Firefox 4 Interface With These Simple Tweaks @ PCSTATS
"Zalman quickly made a name for themselves in the quiet PC sector years ago and have been somewhat of a pioneer in quiet and efficient cooling. Shortly after grabbing a firm hold of the heatsink and fan market, Zalman went on to produce quiet power supplies and have been quite successful in doing so. Those who seek a quiet yet high powered PC will be interested in the unit on the test bench today, as it offers lots of power with little noise. The Zalman ZM1000-HP Plus is a quad 12V rail 1000W power supply. It offers up enough power and connectors to run up to three GPU's and some heavy overclocking. Zalman has incorporated their quiet cooling knowledge inside the ZM1000-HP Plus with a large 140mm fan and dual heat pipes inside to increase cooling and reduce noise when under load."... Gigabyte P67A-UD4 @ PCSTATS
Firefox 4 is expected to bring one of the most significant stylistic overhauls that the browser has undertaken since the initial transition from the old Mozilla suite. Although the final release is still a few weeks away, we’ve already had a taste of its look and feel thanks to the eight betas pushed out so far. Firefox 4's UI is simplistic and streamlined but it has also drawn criticism for dropping elements like page titles in the title bar or simply for being too “Chrome-like.” Of course Mozilla hasn't deviated from what's made Firefox the second most used browser in the world: flexibility. Here are some quick customization tricks you can use to help you tailor Mozilla’s browser closer to your needs.... [TECHSPOT] via PCSTATS

Alert for Intel 6 Series Express Chipsets (P67 / H67) @ PCSTATS
When it comes to gaming, most of the time, the first thing that comes to my mind are consoles like Nintendo 64, Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360... and the list goes on and on. Back in the days, I did not have the opportunity to ever think about computer gaming, as I was always left in the dust with a piece o' crap Pentium II machine (Just for clarification, I currently own two Core i7 based desktops, and a handful of other high performance laptops). And when it does come down to computer gaming, while I own a vast collection of high performance peripherals from well known manufacturers such as Logitech, Razer, and Microsoft, I always thought it was purely my skills that counted -- everything else like computer hardware and peripherals were second in line. While the companies as aforementioned are probably the first and only ones to come to mind for many consumers and enthusiasts alike, our Editor-in-Chief Jonathan recently asked me if I would like to review the Gigabyte Aivia K8100 gaming keyboard. Yes, that's from the same company that makes motherboards and video cards. All of a sudden, my world of gaming peripherals just stood in awe. The first and only thing that came to mind when I looked at the photos on the product page was, "It looks like a Lamborghini!" Pulling it out of the box when it arrived a week later, I had to take a moment to admire such a keyboard, the likes of which I had never owned before. Has Gigabyte pulled a bunny out of the hat to surprise us all? Or is this keyboard like any other so-called 'gaming keyboard' on the market that the big boys in the market have nothing to worry about? Read on to find out! ... [APHNETWORKS] via PCSTATS

Sapphire Pure Black X58 @ PCSTATS
"Standing just 45mm tall, the Evercool HPL-815 is a low profile heatsink suited for use in 2U thick computer cases. It's equipped with a top mounted 80x80x15mm PWM fan that rotates at speeds of 4000-1000RPM, exhausting air downwards into a 23mm tall array of quilted aluminum fins. In fact, of all the sub-60mm low profile heatsinks Frostytech has tested the HPL-815 ranks 7°C cooler (at 4000RPM fan speed) than the next best thermal solution. "... [FROSTYTECH] via PCSTATS

Lian Li X2000F @ PCSTATS
"Overclocking the Sapphire Pure Black X58 initially was met with a lot of failed boot attempts until I figured that the voltages needed were a bit different from the values I've needed in the past. Not so much different but one in particular that I had never really needed to adjust before was the IOH/ICH I/O voltage. This voltage helped bring stability to my overclock at 210 x 20. The board could boot up to a bclock of 218Mhz and make it into windows at 214Mhz but good long-term stability was only reached at a bclock of 210. This of course done using air cooling. I used a combination of CPU vcore, CPU vtt, IOH/ICH I/O voltage and DRAM voltage to increase the speed of the processor ultimately giving me a 4.2GHz stable OC."... [OVERCLOCKERSCLUB] via PCSTATS

Zalman S-Series 128GB Solid State Drive Review @ PCSTATS
"Before the previous generation of Intel processor was released, Lynnfield, remember that NVIDIA initially WANTED to have chipset options on the market as well. Instead, Intel put legal pressure on NVIDIA to the point that the entire division was dropped. The death of the nForce line was with a whimper, not a bang, but the fact that today you can't make a Sandy Bridge processor purchase because of failures with Intel's own chipset, the ONLY chipset that exists for SNB-base CPUs, should help NVIDIA's top brass sleep better at night."... Intel Sandy Bridge CPU In-Depth Look At Overclocking, Memory Timings and More @ PCSTATS
“Solid state drives are the future, faster speeds, no moving parts and they are smaller. The only thing really holding them back right now is their price. Most solid state drives we have seen have been from traditional memory and storage companies. We all know Zalman for making great CPU coolers and cases, so it is a bit weird we see them release a solid state drive. They actually have 2 right now, today we will be looking at the S-Series 128GB drive, which is based on the JMicron controller so it is the mainstream budget drive out of the 2 that they have released. Let’s take a look…& quot;... [THINKCOMPUTERS] via PCSTATS

Corsair Vengeance 12GB DDR3-1600 @ PCSTATS
"Lian Li has been gracious enough to allow me to look at a lot of their products. From the smaller cases like the PC-V352 SFF chassis we've looked at, and cases that are just enormous like the PC-X1000 Super Tower. Both cases have similar features even though they are worlds apart in size and usage. Things like an all aluminum construction, quality fans included, and the sexiness that looking at a Lian Li chassis always has. With the chassis we are about to look at, all of those things are present, plus some upgrades and some add-ons that weren't available when I looked at the two I just mentioned. One thing that tends to keep buyers from the Lian Li lineup is the pricing. With every chassis I have seen from them, they do charge a fair bit more than the rest of the marketed segment that each chassis is released in. In this example we are going to be looking at a Mid Tower chassis, and that market is filled over capacity with tons of offerings already, and many of them under the $100 USD mark. So why does Lian Li charge such a premium for their chassis'? I plan to explain exactly that and show you why buying a chassis like the one we are about to see is well worth the asking price over say the Cooler Master line of budget cases."...
