Crysis 2 PC Multiplayer Demo to be Released on March 1
The wait is over. Well, nearly. Crytek today announced that the long-awaited Crysis 2 multiplayer demo for PC will be released on March 1. The demo will feature two maps, named "Skyline" and "Pier 17", both set in an apocalyptic Manhattan. Matches will be 6v6 with the option of two game modes, "Team Instant Action" and "Crash Site", the former similar to a Team Deathmatch and the latter sounding like Domination in the Call of Duty series. Of course, gamers will also get to try out the Nanosuit against other players. The full version of Crysis 2 will be available later next month.

Corsair Announces New Power Supply Line
Corsair is a leader in many components for computers and many of its products are some of the best you can get. One such product are its power supplies, which Corsair is launching a new series of them today. The Enthusiast TX V2 is the successor to the Enthusiast TX series but the V2 offers a wealth of new improvements. The TX V2 is 80Plus Bronze certified and European Commission Energy-Related Product (ErP) directive compliant, which means efficiency has been improved all around. The better efficiency means less noise while operating and the new DC-to-DC converter design provides for tighter voltage regulation. There are some designs that are carried over from the first series, like a fixed cable design, Japanese capacitors, and enthusiast-grade performance. The Enthusiast TX V2 will be available in 650, 750, and 850 watt capacities.
The Corsair Enthusiast TX V2 PSU series should now be available in North America and Europe, while Asia will get it in March. The 650 watt will be available for $99, the 750 watt at $119, and the 850 watt at $139.

Borders Files for Bankruptcy, Plans to Close Thirty Percent of Stores
This had been rumored all week and now it is finally happening as Borders has filed for bankruptcy. Borders is the second-largest bookstore chain in the country, but it has been hit hard lately since it does not have a viable e-reader to compete against Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It has filed for bankruptcy but will continue to operate the majority of its stores while it restructures itself. Borders is expecting to close about 200 stores (roughly 30%) but it may need to close an additional 75 depending on the concessions from landlords. As it stands, it looks like Borders will be a shell of what it once was. Like I said earlier, Borders does not have an e-reader though it has partnered with Kobo to sell that e-reader, plus Borders does have an e-book store that other readers, smartphones, and tablets use. It has some foothold in the e-reader market, but not an actual Borders-branded device. There is no word on whether or not the bankruptcy will effect the e-book store or Kobo device.
