Acer delivers first NVIDIA's HDMI 3D supporting monitor
Acer is readying to release a new monitor, the 23.6-inch GN245HQ, that is said to be the first to have native NVIDIA HDMI 3D support. It has a built-in IR emitter that works with the included active shutter glasses in NVIDIA's 3D system, allowing users to view 3D content from connected Blu-ray players, set-top boxes or a PC hooked up with the dual-link DVI cable.

Flash Player 10.2 goes stable
Adobe released Flash Player 10.2.152.26 which is considered final, according to the company's Flash Team Blog, and ushers in a new level of hardware-accelerated video decoding in most newer computers, including new privacy features, multi-monitor fullscreen support, improved sub-pixel rendering designed to make on-screen fonts clearer, native custom mouse cursors and other features. High-definition playback on supported hardware shows a dramatic reduction in CPU usage to play back 1080p Flash video, from 90 percent single-CPU use prior to hardware decoding down to less than 20 percent.

LG tries to block PS3 sale in US
LG has filed a complaint with the US International Trade Commission, asking the ITC to block the import of the Sony PlayStation 3. The company is claiming that the Blu-ray drive in every PS3 console violates multiple LG patents, and Sony, Sony Corporation of America, Sony Electronics, Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Computer Entertainment America are all cited in the complaint.
