IBM's LotusLive on-demand collaboration suite is getting a boost via integration with SugarCRM and Ariba's Discovery Service supplier database, the companies announced Thursday. The SugarCRM integration feature, scheduled to be generally available in April, will allow sales people to fire up LotusLive Web conferences from within SugarCRM and share documents, according to a statement.

Smart card security no match for hackers
The U.S. government has been stepping up its use of smart cards to help lock down its computer networks, but hackers have found ways around them. Over the past 18 months, security consultancy Mandiant has come across several cases where determined attackers were able to get onto computers or networks that required both smart cards and passwords. Motorola Mobility posts strong Q4 but warns about Q1
