Automobiles May Prevent Drunk Driving
In the not so distant future, if you have been drinking, you may have to fool your own car, rather that the police to let you go. QinetiQ North America, a Waltham, Mass. R&D facility previewed a prototype automobile system that might stop you right dead in your drunk tracks. LaHood disputed that the technology would interfere with moderate social drinking, and said the threshold in cars would never be set below the legal limit. Comments

Zuckerberg May Crash SNL
Well, this could be fun. It is a distinct possibility Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg may just show up on the set of Saturday Night Live tonight. If he does show, it will be the fulfillment of an April Fool's Day joke and a big surprise to the host of SNL tonight, Jesse Eisenberg, who pulled off portraying Zuckerberg in the movie. Zuckerberg--who was named Time magazine's Person of the Year in 2010--"has indicated he's interested...to show he has a sense of humor." Comments

Lenovo, NEC Announce PC Joint Venture
In a move to capture a larger share of the Japanese computer market, NEC has partnered with Lenovo, the fourth largest computer manufacturer in the world. The joint venture is expected to be completed by June 30th. The advantage of the joint venture will be in combining NEC's product development capabilities with Lenovo's procurement resources, the companies said. Comments
