Super Talent Express Duo Takes USB 3.0 ThumbDrive to New Low Price

Being the first company to roll out the world's first and fastest USB 3.0 flash drive, Super Talent leads again with the first SuperSpeed thumbdrive that breaks the price barrier. Currently, the ST 16GB USB 3.0 Express goes for $73 on Amazon.com; the new drive - called the Express Duo, is only $29. There's even a 8GB model that will retail for as low as $14. It's obvious for such low price you won't be seeing 4 times more speed with the Express Duo, but at least you don't have to break the bank to become an early adopter.
Super Talent didn't go into details in regard to the Express Duo performance. As a brief comparison, the Express Duo top read and write speed are 67MB/s and 23MB/s respectively whereas the regular Express can easily reach 135MB/s read and 50MB/s write. Keep in mind that the latter also carries a price tag double that of the Duo. Both 8GB and 16GB entry-level Super Talent Express drives are slated to ship in November. Check out the video demo after the jump.
